I had a horrendous experience with KB Home (Bridgewood) and will file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection. I could write a 7 page rant on my experience, but I'll try to narrow it down. Basically, I had problems with KB Home from the very beginning to the very end. It was one thing after another. I stood by while their incompetent staff (my child was out of school for over a month because I couldn't enroll her until KB sends over official documents stating my purchase, new address,etc.) and unprofessional agents (kept giving me different final closing dates, had to go to my apt.'s leasing office 5 times to extend my lease) did everything except facilitate my purchase. The final slap in my face was when they gave me 3 days to pay the title (when I first signed up, we had an agreement that KB Homes would pay the title, which was one of the reasons I chose KB) or else they couldn't go through with the paperwork to close the house. I was furious, read them a laundry-list of complaints, told them I didn't want the house anymore (contractually able to do so if there was negligence/wrongdoing on the company's part), and threatened to sue. The accusations scarred them into finally doing their jobs: they paid the title, accommodated me the best they could, and even gave me some bushes to cover the large green energy box in my yard, which wasn't in the blueprints (the superintendent showed me the blueprints when I first purchased, to ease my fear of having a energy box eyesore) and which they put in w/out informing me. I will admit that KB's prices are low and that they have different offices with different staff (my experience was only with the Bridgewood staff) but I still strongly advise all perspective home buyers to shop around and if you do decide to buy w/ KB, to really keep on eye and be on them on everything that they do (or don't). If something's not going the way it should, rectify it immediately!

Be very careful of here since there has been numerous muggings and vandalism of cars and people here. They even have plenty of murders here too. It is very close to the hospital though so you would be lucky there! I was thinking of this place but after comments from friends that live here I would not recommend it for sure. They say that the people that live here are rowdy at all times of the day with loud music and parties and since I have to study all day I really don't want that. They also are pretty old apartments too so they have lots of roaches.

Whatever your problem may be these guys are here to help! Texas summers can be mighty hot and a/c is an absolute must. If there is need of repair you don't want to wait around forever for someone to help you. No matter how busy they get they will work round the clock if they have to to get to every customer. That is the kind of buisness that I want on my side!

My husabnd and I have been in the search for a new home-we've been impressed with the quality of the work the realtors at Coldwell Banker have done for us. The realtor working with us updates us daily on new homes that fit our criteria. They've been great to work with and have left their schedules open to meet whenever we can meet with them. We hope to find a new home soon with their help!
We also enjoy watching their show each Sunday morning to get an idea of other houses on the market.

The best part is that it's a free service. You simply tell them what kind of apartment you are looking for, the price range, and what part of town, and they help find the place that's right for you. It's really helpful if you need to find a place right away and don't want to be making a bunch of phone calls. Very helpful, I've used them twice.

I lived there for only a few months and I was glad the day I got out. The maintenance is horrible, I waited for hours for them to fix my toilet after I had my son a day before. I've waited even longer during the summer heat to get the AC fixed, which went out several times. There are parties that go on by the pool into the wee hours of the morning, even after several complaints had been made. Don't waste your money and your sanity if you can help it.

If you are looking to purchace land anywhere in the San Antonio area these are the folks to see. They have developments all over the area and will work out a reasonable down payment and payment plan. I purchaced the piece of property that I am living on now from them and have been very happy with the whole deal. Because of the insite of the investors the land is increasing in value so it will turn out to be a profitable investment for me in the future!
