I have been into Kings KIds several times now. I have not been impressed with their selection of items. Their clothes are priced about the same as you can get some of them in the stores (Old Navy stuff was cheaper to buy from Old Navy) and the selection is limited. The large items (baby eqipment, cribs) are very expensive and some items can be bought cheaper at Toys R Us or other stores. The customer service is fairly poor. I had picked up the wrong size and realized it once I was in the car, went right back into the store and they would not allow me to exchange the shirt for the right size. I had just stepped out of the store but that is their policy they said. Not impressed with them at all

When I am looking for an item for my child this is the place I go to look. They have great prices on all of their items, new and used. A large selection is always there and the staff is so helpful. They also allow you to sign up for their email newsletter and they will send out great discounts to those on the list. If they purchase items from you they give you the option of cash or store credit and if you choose store credit you get a % more than if they give you cash. Just a great place.

Kids Junction is a good resale shop for kids & baby items. Some items are a bit out dated but a good portion of it is nice items and the store is very large. I was amazed at the racks & racks of clothing. They have a large selection of book as well, everything from childrens books to pregnancy books. The staff is helpful and nice. Not too many large items there but the ones that I have seen are priced really well.

Shady Oaks Family Fun Park is a neat place. Not as big as the regular amusement parks but it is more family geared. The rides are for younger kids and makes it easier for them to ride. Lots of outdoor seating areas and lots of SHADE! Plus food and drinks at the various concession stands. A good place for your child's birthday party.

If you are wanting to see your unborn child up close & see just what your baby looks like then give First Sight a call. They do 3-D and 4-D ultrasounds and it is amazing at the detail that those ultrasounds show! Amazing! They only will do appointments so no walk-ins but they have lots of picture packages to choose from. I believe they require you to be in at least the later stages of pregnancy (late 2nd trimester or 3rd trimester) and you will need consent from your doctor.

Clay Casa isn't just for the kiddos. It is also a great place for a date night too! Clay Casa is a paint your own pottery studio. They have so many pieces of pottery to choose from and make great gifts. Very kid friendly and a wonderful staff. No appointment needed, just walk-in and paint some pottery. Lots of fun for the kids and lots of fun watching them have fun.

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch is a good choice if you have extra money and do not want to go to the zoo. However, it can be pricey for a family. Coupons are usually available, but only for $1-2 off admission. It would be great if they charged by the car load.
It is a little scary when an ostrich sticks his head in your car

Spalshtown is a very reasonable waterpark with out the commute. but beware! make sure to bring flip flops to wear while walking between attractions, which can be quite far sometimes. the entire park is concrete with no shade, so the ground can be quite hot! the staff is iffy think it depends on the day. parking is free and you may leave the park and reenter which is a nice feature.

good community college. i'm going this fall. although i don't like the smoking ban on the campus, i can deal, i guess. be warned though... it's very frustrating to get registered and everything at SAC. they're so scatterbrain there. you'll run into some unfriendly people, but there are a lot of people there that want to help you. very cool environment. needs more parking. good price for tuition. very helpful financial aid and loans.
good community college.

I'm not trying to dog on St. Philips or the professors (teachers?) there or anything, but this school is way to easy. I go to a State University, and decided to take summer school in my home town. Since I lived closest to St. Philips, I chose that over SAC. What a big mistake. Half of my friends went to SAC for the summer while the other half went to St. Philips. I wouldn't have mind the extra 10 minute drive to SAC if I knew that the quality of eduction here was this bad. I took state government, and basically all the teacher did all day was read off of the weekly tests he gives us.
