Decadent Delights will add flare to any party, wedding, bridal/baby shower or any occasion! They rent out wonderful chocolate fountains that are just amazing. They bring the fountain, goodies to dip (fruit, pretzels, etc) to your location and set everything up before the event. They will come and remove everything as well. A rich chocolate fountain can brighten up any event. The couple that run the company are very helpful and nice. The price is average for this sort of thing. I fully recommend calling them to add a bit of excitement to your next event.

This club has been around forever! It really has never gone out of style. Every Friday night is "hip-hop" night. Saturday the local radio station (106.7) is out and playing a mix of music from hip hop to techno to new wave. Sunday night is the most popular with 80's music being played all night long. Military and college with ID's get in free and ladies get in free until midnight! They have awesome drink specials and the funnest bartenders around. This club has a great DJ that will keep your butt on the dance floor all night long

This club is soooo cool! It is a 3 level club. Each level plays different types of music. On the ground level they play 90's - current dance music, 2nd level they play alot of R&B music and 3rd level plays 70's/80's music (the most popular level). It has a great atmosphere! Not many local people, mostly tourist who visit San Antonio and need a place to unwind. The cover is kinda high even for 21yrs and up and usually they don't have drink specials. On Friday nights though if your a resident of Texas your cover is free all night! I highly suggest you drink bottled beverages here because the well drinks are very high! Still though if you want to dance, this is a good place to unwind. Also since it is 3 stories they have an elevator but most of the time its not working and if your a little tipsy the stairs can be alot of fun...not!

Sherlocks is not only a great place to watch the Spurs but a good place for happy hour and a place to meet up with friends on the weekend. Weekends they have live music and the bands are always good. Great staff and atmosphere. Drinks are resonable priced and the food is good and not a bad price either. Grab a pitcher of beer and watch the Spurs!

The prices are pretty much average, $6+ for a burger meal, $14+ for a steak meal, etc. The food took way too long to come out. I went on a pretty busy Saturday night, got seated quickly, but waited about 40-50 minutes for the food. The service was pretty good, the waiters and managers kept coming out and apologizing; they explained that they have a super small kitchen. The food itself was decent, nothing really spectacular. Perhaps I should have asked what dishes chef recommends. They had mostly Texan and some Mexican food to choose from. The portions weren't meager, but they also weren't abundant, which is a little disappointing considering Texas is all about big everything, including portions. The atmosphere was comfortable and very laid back. It is the Republic of Texas after all. I can't comment on the decor inside, I sat in the tables outside, by the river, but I could hear the music and singing coming from inside. After a certain time (I think it was 9:00-9:30pm) they open up the dance floor inside the restaurant. People walking by would sing-along to "I've Got Friends in Low Places."

Panda Bowl Express would be considered a "fast food" restaurant, but only because of the prices and the way you can get your food. The quality of the (yummy!) food and (abundant) portions are really something out of a Chinese restaurant. Panda has spicy or mild food, authentic Asian food or Americanized Chinese food, dine-in or drive-thru. It has a kid's menu (Chinese food or regular old chicken nuggets with fries) and a kid's playground outside (I guess the old locale used to be a Burger King or something). The food isn't heavy or overly greasy, but the portions on the large combo are pretty big so I'd advice the small bowl if you're on the run.

The prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was nice, very comfortable, Mariachis were going around offering their services in the restaurant. The portions were very generous. The service was good. They had seating outside, next to the river, which was completely filled up when I got there. I sat inside. The decor was very Mexican.

Miyako Mart is a small Japanese mart with a good variety of Japanese products. Unfortunately, it does not have a Japanese VHS section like most Japanese marts do nationwide, nor does it have a seafood section. However, the service is very good and the store carries practically all the necessary products used in Japanese cuisine. Prices are very good and they do occasionally have sales.

More
Tim's Oriental and Seafood Market is a medium-sized establishment on the scale of Miyako Mart (7271 Wurzbach Rd) being a small Asian mart and the supermarket-style Asian mart in the same shopping center as Sari-Sari Filipino Market/Restaurant (5752 Wurzbach Rd) being the largest. Tim's has a pretty good variety of food (fresh foods such as vegetables, frozen foods, and packaged foods) and products such as cooking pots and pans, as well as trinkets and videos. The prices are just about the same as the other Asian marts in town, maybe just a couple cents difference. Keep in mind that Asian products in America are slightly expensive in the first place because they're imported products and the cost of production in their countries of origin.

One thing I like about San Antonio is the locally owned food places. Murf's better burger is definitely a place everyone should check out. Their burgers are absolutely delicious and fairly priced. I have gone to murf's better burger on multiple occasions and loved it every time. They have really nice people working there, who are patient and helpful. They always greet you with a smile. I really like their fries, too. They are not some cheap skimpy fries! They are REAL fries!! I love real fries. If you like burgers, check out murf's better burger!
