We went through AJ Travel to book our honeymoon. Lyn Wolff, our travel agent, helped us by recommending areas and hotels and helping us to decide what activities to book ahead of time and what to leave to chance. I don't think I could have comfortably made these decisions (having never been to our destination before) without an expert opinion. She also tried different options to get us the very best deal possible.

We used AAA Limousine Service for our wedding day transportation. The drivers were very friendly. We had a limo to go from the church to the reception, and a getaway car after the reception. The only thing I didn't find to be very professional was the obvious substitute driver that picked us up from the reception (she didn't know how to work anything in the car, INCLUDING the trunk!). But it wasn't a big deal. She was very nice, and it was the end of the night, so we didn't care. Other than that, we had a GREAT experience!

This section of Austin Highway is known for older, rundown motels. The Sands has repainted in recent years but that has not done much for the particular surroundings. It is very convenient to Alamo Heights and only about 10 minutes from downtown San Antonio. Located blocks from the McNay Art Museum.

This 2-story, sprawling bed and breakfast has an at home feel to it. The owners, Bennie and Sue, make every guest feel completely welcome with their warm kindness. Six rooms/suites are available to guests. A one night stay can range anywhere from $89 to $300. Breakfast is served at 9am, and I must say that it is delicious. As an added bonus, there is free wireless internet access. During my visit, I stayed in Benet's suite, and I found everything to be clean and to my liking.

You want a great ambiance for authentic Mexican food! LOOK NO FURTHER!! Rita's knows how to serve their customers while making them feel they are in the heart of Mexico. This restaurant is great with both indoor and outdoor seating. It can be hard to get a table since there is a long wait on weekends. If you want call in your reservation and let them know you are coming. After dinner you can take a riverboat ride!

This hotel is a great hotel to get the flavor of San Antonio. The service is great and is located in downtown. The prices are steep during certain times such as Spurs games but otherwise they are priced the same as other luxury hotels. I like the hotel for the environment and the feel of downtown.

I called this taxi to drop me and 4 friends off at the airport. I specifically told them that we needed a van because we had a ton of luggage that wouldn’t fit in a car’s trunk. The cab came not only 15 minutes late, but it was a car! We were all ticked off! We had to bother and call up a friend to give us a ride. This company is not very dependable!

This UPS store is clean and looks like it would do a great job packaging your items for shipment however should you desire additional services like a notary public be aware that the notary on staff (the owner/manager) does not comply with what Texas requires for identification for a notarized document. When I corrected him, he said you can't believe everything you read on the internet in an extremely mocking tone. So while I'm certain they excel at shipping customer service in other areas is lacking.

I have stayed at the RiverCenter Marriott many times, and I have never been disappointed. It definitely lives up to the "Marriott" name. It's right in the heart of everything! It is attached to the RiverCenter mall, which makes it really convenient if you want to go shopping. You also have easy access to the RiverWalk. The pool is great for kids and is both indoor and outdoor. The rooms are decent sized and always well-kept. You do have to pay like $11 for valet parking, but it's worth it because you have such easy access to everything and don't have to worry about paying to park anywhere else!
