i had read reviews on line & saw that this restaurant had high marks & wanted to try it out. my companion was hesitant since the restaurant IS located inside texas station casino & that didnt seem like a likely place for an upscale restaurant or a fine dining experience. it didnt start off great. we got there at 745pm & the hostess had just gone inside to show someone a table. she never came back. we waited at the entrance like idiots for 5 minutes & that s a long time to just stand around in front of an empty podium with no promise of anyone helping us. finally, a waitress came over to seat us. but our waiter didnt come by for another 5 minutes, so we were sitting there without menus that whole time. we were, as you can guess, a little irritated at this time. my companion even wanted to up & go to the treasure island steakhouse instead. our waiter finally came over & after this little hiccup in the beginning, everything was EXCELLENT. we had 2 waiters waiting on us, another bringing us break & water (the bread basket was very unique) & many others stopping by to ask if we were all right & recommended wines. their wine is very reasonably priced, not much higher than retail prices. we had the steakhouse salad (do share one since they re huge), the surf & turf (includes a lobster tail which was humongous & a 12 oz filet mignon) & also the 16oz filet mignon. for sides we got spinach & mashed potatoes. we should ve just gotten 1 side or no sides becuz the entrees were very generous in propotions. we couldnt even finish the sides. for dessert, the chocolate decadent cake was sooo good. overall, i LOVED this place. the ambiance was great, the service was beyond excellent & the food was great as well. it's a very romantic place to take a date. you would definitely get props for it. we ordered a bottle of dom perignon (195) & splurged on the more expensive entrees, so our dinner came out to be 400. but you could easily eat here for 100 or so. go there. u wont regret it.
Pros: ambience, great food, service, reasonably priced wines

I am a hot wing fanatic and BWW is one of my favorite spots. 14 different ways to sauce your wings with "Blazin" being the hottest. The buffalo chips and a giant beer help cool you down. Tuesdays are "wing Tuesday" and hot wings are 40 cents each...serious bargain of the century! The BBWs in Vegas are the best and are open 24 hours a day. The staff is friendly, but food does take a while, so be prepared...it is well worth the wait.
Pros: 14 sauces and wing Tuesday 40 cent wings
Cons: Food takes a while to get to you.

We have been enjoying this Pub and Grill for 5 years. It's a happy place, with excellent service and outstanding food. We even ate Thanksgiving Dinner there one year when our oven broke. It was fantastic. Another don't miss is the corned beef and cabbage--we always order it on St. Patrick's Day, and it's superb. The soups here are home made, thick and tasty. I've never had one bad meal, nor poor service. Truly outstanding in all respects.

This is a neat place everybody should give a try. Their menu spans over many kinds of Asian food, including Thai, Chinese, and sushi. Their food is extremely good, and prices are very reasonable. I haven't tried anything I haven't liked yet. The people are nice most of the time, but you can tell when things get a little hectic when it's busy. Overall, it's definitely one of the better Asian places in the area.

Not the greatest location and looks a little seedy from the outside, but once you get inside you are in a different world. If any Mexican food can be said to be haute cuisine, this is it. If Lorenzo the manager is there make sure to ask him for his recommendations. The usual stuff (burritos, tacos, etc.) are fine, but stick with the specialties here. The chile relleno de camaron is great. The chile colorado is great. The camarones borrachos are great. The queso fundido con chorizo is great. You get the idea. They have a salmon in cognac sauce that is not on the menu, but ask for it. It's....well you know how it is. Best margarita in town, too. If I could give it six stars I would.
Pros: Food, service uniformly outstanding.
Cons: Location a little inconvenient, especially for tourists, but truly worth the trip.

This place is more for the locals and I love it. The food is wonderful and the machines really pay. The employees are extremely friendly. But most of all, I love all the music that gets played in the Royal Street Lounge.

I read the article from Sonia B. regarding the incident at Carmine's Italian Cafe and not being able to seat this customer. There are always two sides to every story and Sonia B. told a gross mistruth, but then, you have to take it from its source.. She was not able to be seated because there were no seats available; she made demands to put it mildly on the staff and told the ownership where to move tables to the detriment of other customers who were seated nearby. I witnessed the staff trying to seat her, and trying to accommodate her. I doubt that any establishment would tolerate such rudeness and I, myself, have never experienced a situation in a public place as this woman created. Any other establishment in this city would have asked her to leave the premises. If you are going to rate an establishment, then do so on their food; not on your lack of manners. The chaos she created was witnesses by a great many indivduals who expressed their disbelief that anyone could act that way in a public place. Sonia B. should weigh her words carefully; more, so, she should be truthful.
