Pret-a-Porte is refreshingly talented for hair and skin services. Hard to find in San Diego county. Zip code or not, this gem should be sought out by all in La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe and Fairbanks, there is no better. As a Los Angeles native, where the stars are....it is great to have Pret-A Porte- Dan and Roz Oserin.The newest Green Science facials and plant peels are splendid and Theresa a jewel, try it.
Pros: Roz and Theresa for me, the products also.
Cons: Parking slots, a challenge , but worth it

Wow, what a great find! At 7pm on New Years Eve we had no plans (We're getting old!) and we decided to at least try something new. I had watched the old Jamar steak house get it's make-over into something called Habana and had been meaning to try it. What could be a more perfect opportunity?
We had the Sampler plate for 2 (and there were 3 of us) and the Tropical salad, which we split. The plates are big! Unless you absolutely starving go small and add on if you need to (you wont!). I had never had Cuban food and I was suprised by how "light" it was, not greasy at all. The salad had yummy grilled chicken on top and came with all of the dressings they offered. Every one of them delicious. We each had a Mojito, which were very good. The bill total was about $60 which I think was very reasonable for the amount of food and 3 drinks.
The service was great, staff is young and very friendly, food came quick and our server took a lit of time explaining what each dish was. The decor is simple, but much brighter than the old Jamar velvet, dark dining room.
Definately a must when your in the mood for light latin cuisine!

I've experienced a lot of different Mexican Restaurants in my life, even in Mexico. Authentically, Casa De Pico has to be one of my best experiences with customer service and great food. The mood is set for a wonderful date or dinner with a group of friends. The food is amazing!! Nothing else to say about that. I will continue my adventure in finding great mexican food, however, if I were to stop with Casa De Pico, I'd be satisfied.

Finally a salon with great personalized service and gorgeous dresses. I bought my gown after shopping all of San Diego county. SAVE YOURSELF. Just got to amour bridal . Great dresses, prices, and consultants. I love the atmosphere and the welcoming staff. My alterations where perfect and resonable considering the quality. I was sorry when it was over - I enjoyed my experience so much and recommend amour to all brides!

'That yogurt place' is our family name for Yogurt Express. We go pretty often and I recommend you give it a try. The parking lot has only about 10 spaces with each about 12 inches too narrow. Two excellent parking spots are behind near the dumpster.
The self serve yogurt machines are on the back wall with three sizes of styrofoam cups on the wall to the right. Price at checkout is determined by the weight of your cup. You don't need permission to get started. Walk right on back to the cup dispenser, pull one out and start making your own yogurt.
The machines dispense about eight flavors, some fat free, with labels showing flavors. You are free to fill the cup with any or all flavors, mix & blend to your hearts content. Fill it about half full then pack the yogurt by holding it about two inches above the counter and dropping the cup on it's bottom. Repeat a couple of times. This technique allows the yogurt to settle into the cup.
About 20 toppings are available for self serve on the right of the store. Pick one or more to sprinkle or go back and forth between the yogurt and toppings during the fill process to get a fully mixed blend.
Now go to the register and put a clear plastic dome top onto the cup. Place the cup on the scale. If you are a repeat customer show the man behind the counter your Yogurt Express 20% off card and give him your "buy 10, get one free" to mark. If you don't have these cards and they don't offer them you should ask. Pay the man.
There are a couple of tables and chairs both inside and out front. Enjoy.

There used to be a store similar to this in my area, called Color Me Mine. It was located in a busy shopping mall, and it was the quiet place to go, after a busy day of shopping, on a cold rainy day, or when you just wanted to leave reality behind. Ceramicafe provides the same calm, warm, cozy environment. They have many different kinds of ceramic pieces to choose from. Whether you want to let the grandkids make a plate for grandma celebrate grandparents day; paint a favorite animal for a children's room; paint a piggy bank for a baby present; or paint any other personalized ceramic item, you will find it in this store. The best part about this store is the way that the process works. You don't purchase paints and brushes, instead, you sit in this semi-caf?? feeling environment and paint the pieces that you choose, and then they fire them, and you pick them up a few days down the road. All you pay for is the ceramic piece you want to paint. They have birthday parties, where all the kids get to paint things, and the kids feel such a sense of accomplishment when they can make something themselves. I cannot think of a better way for your child to say I love you on Mother's Day then to paint a personalized ceramic piece. Whether it's Mother's Day, or no special occasion in particular, it's a great place to spend the afternoon. The most stressful part of the whole process is the waiting game, which starts the minute you finish painting. You leave the store, so proud, so ready to show your beautiful piece to the world, and you have to return a few days later to pick it up, so sad to leave the piece you painted behind, but it's a happy reunion when you get the piece back, and it looks so professionally done, that you will wonder whether or not you really painted it. Whether your child wants to paint something quick and sloppy, or you want to spend hours creating the pic
