Best

My favorite Thai Food. Been eating there for years, and they never disappoint. I even drive 10 miles to get their take out once in a while.

Worst

I first ate at this restaurant in 2001 and it was the best Thai food in town -- it's questionable these days. Each time I go there, the more disappointed I feel. I just started ...

Favorite thai 3/26/2009

Good: I really like their dishes, flavorful and large. My favorite dishes are Pad Thai and royal curry. The interior is dim at night and gets busy but not too loud to carry conversation. Wait staffs are very courteous. One time I asked for a 10 star, and the lady said I will give you extra spice to add at your own liking. A great hole in the wall thai restaurant in lower queen anne.. Bad: Not much to not like.. Other: Near by there is Racha noodle and Phuket, but you gotta try this.. more

Great Thai Food 9/19/2008

I've been to TTT for over 5 years. It is by far the best thai food in seattle, I especially like their seafood dishes! more

The reviews LIED to me!! 12/9/2006

I was very excited that there was a highly rated Thai place a few blocks from my new residence (according to Citysearch). However, after three very disappointing tries, I cannot bring myself to go there again. The appetizers we had were greasy, bland, and served with the same plum sauce from a jar. The fundamental Phad Thai was overcooked and underseasoned (with a strange flavor, I might add). The Phad See-ew stirred some hope in me with good flavor but still overcooked noodles. The third and final visit, we got takeout during a slooooow weeknight, so no excuses. My fiance ended up pouring the Tom Young Goong (his all-time favorite) into the toilet. The pineapple fried rice was bland and a waste of money (to think that a Thai restaurant in *Cleveland* beat them at fried rice). I couldn't remember if I ordered chicken with oyster sauce or garlic chicken since the "sauce" was merely a brown salty soup with no recognizable trace of garlic *or* oyster sauce. And the fresh veggie rolls were filled with luscious.......noodles and iceberg lettuce. Oh yeah, they stuck a sliver of cucumber in there too. No matter how hard I tried to see what all the praise was about, I couldn't see any gustatory reason for eating there. At least the service was excellent. more

Co-Favorite Thai Restaurant 3/25/2006

Tup Tim Thai is our long-time sentimental favorite for friendly service, reasonable prices, excellent food, and a great location proximate to the ballet, theatre, Sonics &c. I've never had a bad meal at TTT. more

Excellent Panang Curry 3/18/2006

Whenever I'm going to an event on Queen Anne, it's a natural to have dinner at Tup Tim Thai. While the atmosphere is nothing special, the service is friendly, and the crispy golden shrimp, panang beef curry, pad see ew and chili pepper friend rice are delicious. more

I can't jump on the Tup Tim Thai bandwagon. 2/27/2006

Tup Tim Thai was okay. Ambivalence is the best they're going to get out of me. For months I heard the rants and raves that surround local, often underground, favorites. I finally took a stab at it a few weeks ago and was decidedly un-wowed. The place was bustling, which was to be expected in accordance with the favorable buzz that drew me in the first place. Counterpoint to the wait for a table - our food did come out especially fast. I ate the majority of it. I didn't strongly dislike it. It was all right. Somewhat satisfactory. Tolerable. Adequate. Sufficient. I'm completely bewildered as to why it's such a favorite. I give it a shrug. more

Tup Tim Thai on Lower Queen Anne Hill is great the food is inexpensive, good sized portions and tastes amazing, my favorite is an appetizer, the stuffed chicken wings. the wing is stuffed like a spring roll and deep fried. you can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu. great for take out as well if you live on Queen Anne more

Great Peanut Sauce and Phad Thai! 7/19/2005

Tup Tim Thai is a friendly little Thai restaurant in Queen Anne. The food is delicious and well prepared. The service can be a bit forgetful and slow, but if you want a leisurely meal and don't mind reminding your server you ordered a drink or need a refill on your water than this is the place. I've ordered take-out after work and it's been prepared very quickly and was just as delicious if I had eaten it in the restaurant. They have a very economical lunch menu which comes with a great homemade cup of soup. more

i could just about eat here every day 6/4/2005

what does one say about a restaurant that has a bowl of hot rice soup placed in front of you before you're even finished sitting down? i say YUM! and fortunately, 'yum' sums up everything i've tried so far at tup tim thai. not only is the food delicious but it's served lightening-fast, piping hot and there's plenty of it. the veggies are crisp, the sauces nice and light, and the waitstaff is sweet. their lunch menu is one of the best values around, but get there either before noon or after 1:00 - that place fills up to capacity as soon as the lunch crowd lets out. dinners are very reasonably priced too. parking can be a problem but don't let that keep you away. more
