I can't jump on the Tup Tim Thai bandwagon.

Tup Tim Thai was okay. Ambivalence is the best they're going to get out of me. For months I heard the rants and raves that surround local, often underground, favorites. I finally took a stab at it a few weeks ago and was decidedly un-wowed.
The place was bustling, which was to be expected in accordance with the favorable buzz that drew me in the first place. Counterpoint to the wait for a table - our food did come out especially fast. I ate the majority of it. I didn't strongly dislike it. It was all right. Somewhat satisfactory. Tolerable. Adequate. Sufficient.
I'm completely bewildered as to why it's such a favorite. I give it a shrug.
