Best

Although this may be extremely difficult -- maybe even impossible-- to believe, Origami is easily the best sushi I've had in this country. And I've eaten at a LOT of sushi places...

Worst

snobby people that waited on us and the drinks were so spendy. the food was ok. if you want really good sushi try Wild Mint in Crystal, they have happy servers and great sushi....

Not worth it... 10/16/2002

Origami is definitely good Japanese food...for Minnesota. The service is very prompt but a bit arrogant. The sushi is hit and miss...the last time it tasted like it sat in a grocer's case for a few days. A bit expensive for what you get...I recommend Kikugawa, a short trip across the river. Pros: decent food Cons: expensive, tables too crowded more

Agree to the fullest degree:) 10/11/2002

Origami is definitely the BEST sushi source here in the Twin Cities! I am always open to trying other sushi spots, however I never find sushi elsewhere that even compares:) Pros: Good Parking, Excellent Ambience, Pretty People more

Best Sushi of Minnepolis 8/28/2002

Atmosphere is #1 here, if they have a tuna or eel special, make sure to ask about them! They are wonderful!! more

Very fresh. 7/24/2002

Great sushi and they will prepare special requests. Convenient to downtown employees and patrons of Theatre de le Juene. The place is fairly small so reservations are recommended. Not much of a selection outside of sushi. more

Not your average catch 7/10/2002

Having moved from Southern Cal, I am always careful about ordering sushi in the Midwest. However, I am suprised by the good quality of sushi everytime I dine there, but not too fond of the tight quarters. Service is hit and miss. Pros: Food, Drinks Cons: Atmosphere more
