NEPA is #1 2/17/2011

My entire family has used NEPA for the past nine years and would never take our children anywhere else. Our doctor's, Hagee and Pauli, are avialable at all times and thier nurses are very friendly and efficient. Making appointments has never been a problem, even when it has been last minute. 5 stars! more

Beyond the call of duty! 2/15/2011

I have taken my children to this practice for over 11 years now. I am proud to say that I believe the physicians and staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty to care for my children. I especially appreciate that they are open 7 days a week for my little ones! Not many practices offer these extra services and for worried moms on the weekend this makes all the difference in the world. So I thank you physicians and staff at Northeast Pediatrics for all that you do! more

Meat Market of Pediatrics 2/11/2011

For about 4 years we have been happy with Northeast Pediatrics. We have had the same Doctor since our first child was born 5 years ago and that same Doctor administered the new born screening for both of our children (ages 5 &1). Over the last 6-months the "wheels just came off" Northeast Pediatrics. Here is Why and Reason #3 is why we are leaving: 1.) The phone system. I know it sounds silly to mention the phone system, but when you have an automated system that "makes you" navigate through 30-40 seconds of menus just to make an appointment it can drive you crazy, when your limited in time. The BIGGER problem has been very long periods of busy tones, I'm talking 1-4 hours (not kidding), because they recently changed to "one" number for 3-practice locations and no alternatives of getting through to talk with your Doctor. What has been disheartening has been the Office Manager's DEAF EARS, they just don't care, because myself and several other parents have complained repeatedly and they just don't do anything. 2.) The Front Office Staff has gotten ruder and ruder over the past few months. They speak to you like you are just a piece of Meat, without any empathy or compassion. This is hard to deal with at times, because if you have been up for 3-days without sleep, because of a sick child you just want some HELP from a friendly person. And again when you complain it just falls on the Office Manager's DEAF EARS, they just don't care, because myself and several other parents have complained repeatedly and they just don't do anything. 3.) It's really SAD to use these words, but Northeast Pediatrics has become a "Meat Market" for children, that appears to be dancing on the edges of Medical Malpractice. I say this because we have had several occasions where Nurses have NOT consulted medical charts and almost given our kids the WRONG MEDICATIONS. I'm not kidding, they have become terribly sloppy. Disappointing 10/20/2010

Dr. Hagee is my sons doctor, in which he has only seen her once in eight months due to the fact she was never available when he needed to go in, which was disappointing. Katie Russell is who they scheduled the appointments with when Hagee was unavailable. She is great! Although she is one of the nurses, she is very understanding, explains things well, and has always returned my calls very quickly, when Hagee hasn’t returned one. So I decided to just always make appointments with Mrs. Russell instead, and now the front office has told me that he cannot see her for a check up, he has to see his actual doctor, he hasn’t seen her since he was a month old!!! There whole process is very annoying. Thinking of switching doctors offices. The front desk usually takes 30 minutes just to make an appointment, and last time we were there they lost our paperwork and totally forgot we were even there waiting. Although Mrs. Russell has been such a great help, I give this place 2 stars. more

Not Welcoming 10/7/2010

I will give NE Pediatrics 2 stars for the cleanliness, however the staff are rude and act like you are bothering them if you expect them to do their job. And I agree with the review that said it is hard to get an appointment. more

I would highly recommend this Dr. He and his medical assistant "Peggy" are great! Very knowledgeable and after examining your child, he takes the time to answer any questions or concerns. Peggy or him also return calls that are placed to them, which really impresses me. If your child is very ill, one quick call to them and they allow you to bring your child in. How many doctors do this today?Carelink doctors donot allow this and neither do some of the others. Dr Ornes and his staff are super friendly and very helpful. I have recommended him to many family and friends, whose children are now patients of his. The wait time in his office is not bad either. All 4 of my children were seen by him (now 3 b/c the oldest is 19 now)He will see your child till they reach 18. He is just a very good Dr and anyone who tells you otherwise, is just wrong or a pissed off parent who did not get thier way. more

Wishing I felt part of the team. 12/1/2009

I am so frustrated with the Village drive office. My son's vaccines were given to another child last time. This time, he had two shots, but was only given one. Now we have to go back. When did this practice start forgetting how to give proper care? Why is it that they feel we should be honored to bring our kids there, only to be rushed out the door???? I have questions that they don't have the time or patience to answer. UGGHHH! more

Lost their love for patients and kids 9/22/2009

Very dissappointed at NEPA- they behave as though they are doing YOU a favor by giving you an appointment. Sick appointments are impossible and they quickly turn you away because thier are no appointments. If only I could "schedule my child to be sick". Shame on you NEPA for making your patients an "inconvienence" You have lost your focus ! more

Love my Doctor but the nurse 12/26/2008

I love my doctor but the nurse assigned to her is inefficient. I call and leave a message about my concerns and the call back is like - I'm returning your call - what's the problem? Um did you listen to my message? - Then I get left on hold for over 10mins while she is supposedly setting up an appointment, hang up call back and leave her a message then call appointments myself and get in quickly. Then when she finally returns my call she's like what can I help you with? Um you left me on hold for over 10 mins do you not remember? The appointment staff and the techs are incredible! Kudos where they are do more

Wonderful Doctors! 6/16/2005

Northeast Pediatric Assoc. is just wonderful. A great practice and amazing doctors, nurses and staff. Each of their locations (Village Dr & Oak Centre) are just wonderful and they are willing to help you and answer your questions about your child. They have an office that is open on Saturday mornings for sick children or emergency care. Each person we have dealt with has been very helpful and willing to get us the answers we need. I would recommend anyone to this practice! more
