It's Electric! Boogie Woogie Woogie! 2/28/2006

I love shows at this place. It's small and crowded and awesome. It's standing room only and the stage is in your face. I've met many a band member at this venue, and really I can't say enough good things about it. Get there early though, it's a very popular place, and again it's small. more

An ok Concert Hall 2/5/2006

As far as concert halls go in Philadelphia, this place is much better than the Spectrum or the Waichovia Center. Standing room only unless you go upstairs to get drunk, there's always plenty of room to spread out, and there's even places to sit down if you're getting too hot. If you get something to drink, hang onto the bottle, because the typical price gouging goes on here. The bathrooms are pretty dirty, and security is sometimes over aggressive, but overall, it's an ok place to take in a few bands. more

Electric Factory! 1/15/2006

The Electric Factory is a smaller (compared to Wachovia Center sized venues) music venue in Philadelphia. It is standing room only and there is a balcony with a bar for those over 21. Big acts come to play here and the sound is good. Prices for tickets are usually not too expensive and prices for food and drink are pretty reasonable. There really is no bad place to watch the concert from. more

Electric Factory 8/16/2005

The Electric Factory is one of the major concert venues in Philadelphia and they usually headline a lot of good, popular music artists. The sound system is pretty good and the venue itself is big. It's standing room only on the floor with a seated balcony (and bar) up top. There's always a good vantage point of the stage whether you're watching from the back or crammed in the front. There's ample parking in and around the venue, i would suggest trying to find free meter parking rather than in a parking lot. Overall, its a good place to watch most of their headlining artists. more
