A little pricey, but worth it if you like good ice cream, floats, sundaes, etc. They also have a candy counter where you can get things like peanut clusters, bon-bons, truffles, etc. And they have prepackaged gift boxes/bags of candy and other sweets ready to go. A few tables inside and one or two outside when the weather’s nice. Definitely worth going to, but the line will probably be long.

I have moved out of the city and still go or send a familymember to get this cake for every birthday. Thick pound cake with deliciously sweet icing. The kids ( and adults) always fight over the flowers. This cake never stays around long so be sure to put so away for later. Everyone who has ever had it agrees!

Simply put, they have the most AMAZING flour-less chocolate cake! One bite and you're in heaven! It's a small place but worth going to, as the ambiance is quite relaxed, and seems miles away from the overstimulating South Street. It's a quaint place recalling something out of the Victorian era, with roses and lace.
It's a great place to go for dessert. Cakes, pastries, cookies, they have it all. They also have a great key lime pie. Sit down with a cup of tea and enjoy!

The Swiss Pastry Shop on 19th Street is one of my personal favorites. The baked goods sold here are exceptionally yummy, and everything is very fresh. I like the cakes here, as they are actually baked on site. I think the breads are brought in by truck everyday. This place smells so nice when you come early in the morning. The staff are pleasant; they always greet you and wish you a nice day as you leave.
I like how this bakery is clean, too. I would come here more often if their prices were a little lower, and if I lived closer.

Good: Everything is so incredible. The best thing is the Italian Rum Cake. I am 61 years old and cannot remember ever not having one for my birthday. My adult children feel the same way, they have to have one for theirs too. Thank you for giving my family these cakes for so many years. Hopefully many, many more..

Yann has amazing cakes! They look great and taste delicious. We’ve bought their cakes to bring to gatherings, and they always elicit oohs and ahs. If you don’t have an occasion to buy a whole cake, they also sell mini pastries that are also very good. The prices are very good considering the high quality.

The owner, Ling, is sweet, courteous, and always there. I would get the "cupcake", "caster roll" (custard roll..beware of the spelling and just say it out loud to figure it out), and pineapple bun (it just looks like a pineapple and doesn't taste like one).
Ling also makes the best iced coffee. She's a little older woman and I always request her services when she makes my iced, double espresso with boba (tapioca balls).

this place is the worst kind of small deli - it looks from the outside as thought it's going to be a really great little bakery with yummy breads and pastries, but in reality from the moment you walk in and are hit by the nasty smell of some chemical (not the smell of dough/bread), you just want to get the heck outa there! a horrible horrible hole in the wall with the most paltry food selection i've ever seen and the most listless, depressed staff.

Homemade Italian bread! My family has been shopping at this bakery for over 25 years..they have the absolute best Italian bread. It has a really hard outer crust and is soft in the center. It's possible to get bread and rolls still warm from the oven. You will usually need to make sure you go early in the day to be sure they haven't run out of the type of bread you want.
