Downtown Dog Lounge

My sister left her pomeranian at the downtown dog lounge for just 3 days. In that time, they had given her dogs medication to another dog and crated him when instructed not to do so. We returned a day early only to find the dog crated and covered in urine. He is still recovering from being shoved into his crate: crippled and barely able to walk 3 weeks later. He is on heavy pain medication. When we spoke with Dog Lounge management to ask for a refund and give them an opportunity to address our concerns they were rude and defensive. Dog owners beware. more

Okay, I admit it. My fiance and I are very much attached to our dogs. And at one point, I was baking them fresh dog treats. Needless to say, we always worried when leaving them. In the past, we've had a dog sitter at our home, but we haven't made such connections since moving to the Seattle area. So we had to...board them! Fearful and worried, we contacted the Downtown Dog Lounge. They were absolutely wonderful. We had been in a few times prior buying fun treats, and liked how friendly the staff was. Like all dogs, our girls had to have temperament tests, and we had to show that their shots were up to date. The staff made recommendations/boarding decisions that were based on how our dogs interacted with others and alleviated all the anxieties that my fiance and I had, and were so understanding of our situation. We will definitely take them to the Dog Lounge the next time we have to leave town. more

Our dog get groomed here and then he gets to stay and play. Her really likes and come home all tired and ready to go to sleep. The groomer here does a really good job as well. But if you are looking for something specific ask to speak to the groomer so you can get what you want. They are pricey but it is worth it. more

They were fabulous when I took my dogs there on my honeymoon last year. They were very patient when I was psycho and called and checked on them many times! They prefer that in fact to someone who doesn't really care about how their dogs are doing. In fact, when my dog got sick there, they did everything they could to take care of him while we were on our honeymoon. more

My dog Hitchcock has been going to the Downtown Dog Lounge since he was a pup. If I have company coming and I need hime to work out his dog energy, her gets a day there. If I am having a party where there are people coming and going, he gets the evening there. It's clean and friendly but a but overpriced. He always comes back happy and often lets out a howl when we drive by. more
