Crepes 6/3/2006

An old roommate who worked here for a spell let me in the secret of why their crepes seemed so greasy: because they put soooo much grease in them. She said after she saw how much oil they poured into each, she would never eat one again, not that she really liked them so much to begin with. Which is fine, because this is a groovy little place with its own MUNI stop, that if you're forced to go, you can just get one of their massive salads. more

Crepes on Cole 3/27/2006

Crepes on Cole not only offer yummy food and dessert crepes, but have other selections like pancakes, omlettes, salds, sandwiches, and soups. Everything is always fresh, and meals are pretty good portions. The prices are inexpensive, so its great. This is a nice little family owned cafe. People are warm and friendly and the service is fast. Everything is neat and tidy. You can always find a clean table to sit and relax. more

Get the Cole Valley crepe; or Greek salad; or Eggs Benedict. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Long hours. Great quiet atmosphere. The owner is a great guy. A mainstay for the Cole Valley! more

Food only okay... but the portions! 10/21/2004

You don't go to Crepes on Cole for fine dining, but it's a great place to hang out and people watch. But the biggest attraction is the bang for the buck. The portions are so enormous (think salads big enough for 3 people) that you don't understand how they can stay in business. An important Cole Valley institution. more
