I've so wanted to buy something from here, I love the name so much, I've gone in looking for SOMETHINg, ANYTHING to buy... but alas, I always leave empty handed. The store is full.. of nothing I want. I never get the opportunity to say that! Um, the few things that I might have been able to buy... were so ridiculously priced I couldnt do it. Everything in there is cute, the place is okay, I will continue to look for gifty things there. But sadly. so far. its been a no go. more

Useless But Charming Gifts! 1/17/2006

Whenever I need to buy a card for someone, Chocolate Moose is my first stop. They have a most eclectic selection, guaranteeing that your card will be like no other the recipient receives. They also have gifts that range from funny to kitschy. If you're looking for something oddball, this is place place to go. That's probably Chocolate Moose's biggest asset. Where else can you find a set of magnets that allow you to dress up animal pictures in funny costumes? more

Chocolate delight 1/16/2006

The Chocolate Moose is an unusual little store in DC that has number of items. They have some very unique custom made jewelry that you cannot find anywhere. I usually patronize this store with my wife who is looking at the jewelry while I’m snacking on their wonderful Chocolate Moose. If you are looking for some tasty snacks while browsing for unique and reasonably priced items this is a good place to visit. more

This store has very unique novelty gifts and cards you wouldn't find in your mall. You can find great gifts for a co-worker. My only complaint: Some of thier items are a little pricey but I guess they are worth it cause you won't see it anywhere else. more

If you're looking for a gift that's a little unusual, a little funky, but still fun and reasonably priced, try Chocolate Moose. Handmade jewelry competes with political memorabilia, books and lawn ornaments for your attention. Specialty chocolates are available as well, and their card collection ranges ffrom the funny to the obscene, but all highly original. There's no parking to speak of, but it's accessible from Farragut West or North metro stops. more

Great gifts! 8/15/2005

This store has an awesome of array of knick-knacks and novelty items. If you ever wanted a clothespin shaped like a nose or a fake nose on which to lay down your glasses, then here is the place to go. They also have an extensive array of fine chocolate as well as novelty sweets and loads of funny and original non-hallmark greeting cards. It's a great place to go for a small but unique gift for your friend or family member. more

Great local chocolate store 8/4/2005

This is a great chocolate store. They always have very unique items and the quality of the chocolate is second to none. The store also has a lot of great toys, nick nacks and other items that you can get as gifts to other people or you can use your self and keep them in your office. The store is located in a very convenient place. This is a great location. The chocolate is great quality. I would recommend anyone to this place. more
