More
Down Dog, an Affiliate studio of Baron Baptiste, is the only studio in the DC area certified to teach Baptiste Power Vinyasa a strong, flowing, style of yoga accessible to most individuals.
Georgetown location is nice, but not the easiest to get to for those of us who take public transportation.
Studio is very nice, but space is limited. Classes are sometimes cramped and its hard to find places to keep your stuff (there are no lockers or locker rooms).
Instructors are very good, but sometimes there are simply to may students for you to get any personal attention.

More
The U.S. Department of Agriculture offers classes for working adults through the USDA Grad school, daytime, evening/weekend, and online. The courses range from language classes to photography to computer certification programs. It seems weird that its run by the Dept. of Agriculture but really its run by the Federal Government. Most of the classes are great for working professionals who may want to learn something new one night a week and will give you the opportunity to meet other people your age interested in the same things.

More
If you are a student at GW Law School, Washington Law and Professional Books is a great alternative to buying books at the GW bookstore. The prices are better and there is often a better selection of used books at reduced prices. When it comes to buying supplements, study guides, and canned outlines, the knowledgeable staff can direct you to the best selection for your academic needs. And they even have their own coffee bar.

Great park in upper NW that has been named one of Washingtonian's Best Playgrounds! Children's playground includes swings, slides, train, and an enormous sandbox, with turtle statues to climb on! But, the highlight for summer is definitely their fountains, which children can play in. Bring a swimsuit and towel! My daughter LOVED it!

More
This is a center for babies 6 months to 4 years old and they hold classes similar to what a child would have in a daycare environment. $220 for a 12-week session, meeting once a week for 45 minutes each session. Classes are really for infants/toddlers of stay at home parents. No classes are convenient for working parents and children. You can also rent out the place for birthday parties on weekends. I only give it 2 stars b/c I'm not a stay at home mom. I would probably give it 5 stars if I were.

More
The Kaplan Test Center provides a very high quality, well organized program. Any student looking to up their LSAT score should definitely consider this course.
One LSAT Center owner informed me that most of the courses will up your score in a range of 5-7 points. In my case, Kaplan out did that.
Pros: Kaplan is a nationally recognized program that is renowned for their test preparation materials for many different subject areas
Instructors who have taken the exam and scored at or above a given level
A dedicated test center with past exams and quiet rooms to use at your disposal
Well located, many course slots.
Cons: Very expensive- over $1000 for the classroom course. Private tutoring sessions up this significantly
Class groupings are not divided by score level. This basically means if you are excelling, the lower performers in the class may very well hinder your experience
Puts a great deal of emphasis on the homework

I had to average the school and the administration...
The School: The professors are fantastic, and very tied into Washington politics, a plus for any Poli Sci major. The students, though you are bound to find a few bad seeds, are generally engaging and well involved in the workings of the city- from internships on the Hill, to waiters at local eateries. The dorms are great (but over priced), the off-campus accomadations are also fantastic
The admin.: Here it is you will occasionally find a good seed. One story suggests the Unviersity President said, "GW is a business with a mix of real estate, athletics, theater and publications with some academics mixed in".... and you better believe that all the red tape and the price of the university makes you believe it.
I love the school and the people, but the school's adminsitration can drive someone crazy
