Back on 1/5/06, I picked up a pair of pants from Zips in Falls Church that had many light-brown stains. The stains were not there when I dropped off the pants. In addition, there was no tag on the hanger that said "couldn't get out the stains" when I picked up the pants. Only upon inspection in the store did I notice the stains. After pointing this out, they offered to try and remove the stains. To veryify that this was Zips fault, I even had the staff member I was working with write on my receipt that the pants were damaged during cleaning so there was proof in the future.
Three attempts later and some of the stains are still there. The Zips manager, Vivian, is now telling me that it wasn't Zips fault and will try no further to fix the pants. She said the employee was not authorized to determine how the pants became stained so she ignored his signed statement.
I really liked Zips until I hit this brick wall of denial.

I came to this store to have my suit altered. All I wanted was my waistline taken in a bit, and I got the suit back the next day. The service was great, and everyone was polite and helpful, but I thought that the price for such a simple job was a little overpriced. Overall, a good experience, however.

I've never actually had anything tailored here, but I'm still reviewing this place because Lee's also does basic dry cleaning. My husband often takes his shirts here and they have always done a good job and finished on time. They are located right in the downtown business district, so if you work downtown this is a convenient place to take your cleaning to on the way in to work.

Situated on the edge of the downtown business district, Chapters is paradise for fiction lovers. You might wish you'd worn some tweed -- and if you're well-versed in contemporary fiction, you might spot the next Pen/Faulkner nominee perusing the shelf next to you.
While the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating enough to help even the most inexperienced readers, most of the customers at Chapters know what they're looking for (chances are they have a novella-in-progress at home). If you can stay on their erratic mailing list, you'll be privy to some of the best literary readings in town (Whit Stillman, Amy Bloom, and I Was Amelia Earhart author, Jane Mendelsohn, have all made recent appearances).

Dr. Rosenblatt runs a great eye doctor shop. The place has a very large selection of frames to choose from and a very helpful staff to help you pick out the frames that you have been dreaming about. The place also has the latest advanced equipment and can also recommend a good pair of contacts for you. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Rosenblatt's place.

This dentist provides excellent dental services at reasonable prices. The office set up is very clean, uncluttered, and the front office staff are always pleasant. The dentist is very thorough and nice. The office is conveniently located on Eye Street near the metro station. There never really seems to be a long wait when you go either. If you are looking for a good general dentist, I highly recommend trying out this one.

The Washington Center for Dentistry is a great place for high quality, high end dental work. This dentist office is definitely top notch. The prices may be higher than other places, but the service and quality are second to none. The office environment is especially relaxing and set up almost like a spa. I would say it is set up almost to relax you while you wait for the dentist (definitely not the usual!). If you are not as concerned about price, this is the place to go.
