the campground i great, I love to go just for the night, but you could stay for longer, the showers and everything are fine, and theres a little store there for necessitties. It would be a great place to camp for a week or so, it's so close to jacksonville, and it's not just woods and stuff, there would be tons to do, the beach is right there, there are all kinds of trails, there's a little kid's waterpark towards the front, and the lakes are great. In the summer there are lifeguards at the beach and at the lake, and they have wave runners there as well.
in the summer they offer a children's lifeguard training camp, I went when I was little, it would be great to send your kids as a day camp. they learn CPR and other life saving skills, and are out in the sun being active all day.

I used to live in Florida, where smoking is banned from all restaurants, and a restaurant is defined as obtaining X% of revenue from food... I loved it, when I moved to MD, and when I go to other states, I realize how much I'd forgotten how nice it is not to stink of smoke when leaving a restaurant. Restaurants are for eating.... now. Bars I think, are different. Smoking in Bars is, I think okay. I don't go to bars, mostly because they stink like smoke, but I expect them to, and i think thats okay.
But, if a restaurant is going to call it's bar section a separate entity and allow smoking there, then we're back to smoke in eateries. In florida, to be considered a bar you had to be free standing, and less than X % of your revenues came from food.... this way, smoke isn't in the same ventilation system, etc.

I've gone in several times needing an arrangement for a party that day, and just asked them to whip something up, and it always comes out lovely! Their prices are very reasonable, and the service you get is hard to find!

I have been away from the Jacksonville Beaches for years, but I still call Dr. Fralicker with questions, and go see him whenever I fall ill while visiting family there. This office has been so kind to my family and myself, the staff is friendly, and the doctors are always great; I have more experience with Dr. Fralicker, and I love that he offers homeopathic solutions and vitamin supplements before suggesting prescription drugs. This is a great practice to grow up with, the Doctors are friendly and you won't be just another appointment, they'll remember you, and keep up with your lives, and be a part of your family.

My mother in law and I went to lunch here the other day, it wasn't as expensive as I expected, and everything looked lovely. the room is very pretty, very high ceilings, molding etc. the service was very nice. She had a side salad, which came in what looked like an upside down top hat made out of some kind of rice tortilla... and fried catfish fingers; i had the roast duck salad. The fried catfish was delicious, perfectly fried, and moist and so good. the duck was very good also, it had a honey glaze that was very nice, but the salads were just... eh. They could have used something... the dressing i think must have been just oil, because it didn't taste like anything. I would go back again, and even order the same thing, but ask for balsamic vinegar to douse the oily lettuce with.

The ice cream is great, so many flavors, and the toppings make them perfect. it can get expensive if you add toppings willy nilly, but you can also pick from their pre selected frozen concoctions, they have some very nice combinations, i like the berry one, but really, they are all delicious. you are splurging already, so you have to get it in the waffle cone, or waffle cone bowl at least.

You can go to their website to get the soup 'schedule' they seem to always have 5 or 6, and at least one tomato based, a broth based, a cream sauce, and a vegetarian option. the French onion soup is my favorite. They also have a wide selection of sandwiches and salads, and a huge bakery section. The sundried tomato bread is very tasty, and you can buy it in rounds or loafs.

I went in looking for a nice tequila, the sales clerk that helped me explained the differences between all the different kinds, and helped me pick one (i think it was 1800 gold or something...) then he helped me pick a wine for me, i explained what I liked, and he helped me find an affordable bottle that he said if didn't like i should come back and tell him; you don't often find a commitment to service like that!

this is the tiniest shoe store i've ever seen. there's barely room for one woman to sit down and try on a pair of shoes, but there are usually 12 women in this store. I adore nine west, and would love to go in and gawk and try things on , and eventually convince myself i need them and take them home... but theres never any room for me. its too packed! i do upon occassion squeeze my way in and find that they have a nice little sale rack in the back corner, sometimes with 40 or even just 20$ shoes. hurray! squeeze in and take a look

I would like to know where they get their stuff... it seems... and if someone knows... please tell me... but it seems like they get all their clothes from tj Maxx or Marshalls.... all the brands i see there, even the same shirts and suits... only they jack up the prices inordinate amounts. i've never actually seen anyone else in this store... i've never bought anything, i can't imagine anyone would.... the other thing that hints that they buy stuff from discount retailers... they only ever have one shirt of the same kind... i feel like if they were buying from the designer; they would at least buy the same shirt in a few different sizes; or the same suit, etc. what do you think?
