Best

This is the best place to buy and sell clothes. I had an amazingly wonderful experience browsing the endless racks and found some outstanding deals. I am a bit of a hippie so I ...

Worst

The clothes are cool & the prices are awesome. But overall I'm not real fond of clerks being real bitches to me, ya know? Last night, the clerks made fun of me for being extra-lar...

Rude Employees.... 2/22/2009

This place is way to overpriced i would only recommend it if you are selling clothes you really don;t want anymore because you will hardly get anything for them...... more

some good finds 4/10/2006

I've bought and sold clothes at Buffalo Exchange for several years, and though they do seem to overprice some of their things...I still find some good deals. The good part about Buffalo Exchange for buyers is that they are picky about what they buy (in terms of style, not necessarily quality). It's not a vintage store, though they do carry some vintage. They attempt to carry current styles, so it's a lot easier for me to walk in and find something that I like and that fits than at a thrift or vintage store. more

Another palce you can sell 8/18/2005

Buffalo exchange is a place you can sell your clothes. Although they will not accept all kinds of clothes, and the price is very low, it is still a place you can sell your unwanted clothes instead of throwing them away. I didn't buy anything from this store, but if you look through this store, maybe you can find something different. more

Cool joint but expensive 8/17/2005

The idea is great behind Buffalo Exchange. They buy sell and trade eclectic clothing. But at this place, I'd only sell back clothes, not buy them. The price they charge for some of their clothes is ridiculous. I'd have better luck finding cooler things at Goodwill in fact. I have sold a pair of jeans there for $15 which was really a good deal; however, when I went to look at their other clothes for sale I was in shock. Buffalo Exchange is on the drag tucked away in a shopping center, not too visible to people driving by. I'd definitely recommend them as a place to sell vintage or unique clothing to, but not to buy from. more

Vintage Shop on Drag 8/15/2005

This is a vintage shop on the drag. It has a wide variety of stuff, though most of it is stuff that has just gone out of style, as it is right near the UT campus, and most of the people who sell stuff there are univeristy students. The prices are average, but when they buy your clothes back, if the stuff is out of season you get VERY little money. Like maybe 1 or 2 dollars for a shirt if you are lucky, if its in season the prices are much more resonable. more

Hottest store for one of a kind items 7/31/2005

This store will be your favorite. Everytime I go in I find something unusual I like. The best part is you can exchange your clothes for new clothes or money. They are pretty picky about what they accept though. These days they seem to only want high end name brand stuff. They also take clothes from a few decades back. more

Trendy Clothing for Men and Women 7/25/2005

This place has a wonderful variety of clothes and the styles are very current. I appreciate how they arrange things in sizes so you know exactly where to start looking. They do tend to overprice everything, so don't expect fantastic bargains. Also, inspect every piece of clothing very closely as I've come home with more than a few pieces with holes or stains. more

Its Okay... 7/16/2005

I sell stuff here but I don't buy anything. I've noticed that Central Austin businesses are not the friendliest- this one is no exception. The staff is very rude. The items are great because they are recycled- but, so are thrift store items- you can buy new at Buffalo's prices. I think this place is highly overrated! more
