Austin town lake animal center is a wonderful place, they accept animals who do not have homes or have been lost. The people working there is really helpful and friendly, they treat all the animals very well. And if you would like to adopt an animal, check with them. It is a very nice place for animals.

Every pet owner needs to know where the closest Emergency Animal Hospital is. My own experience with this one is that they are extremely professional and have a very nice clinic. The only real drawback is the rear entrance and trying to get across the highway when you are coming from the south. It does add a few minutes onto the drive, and at times every second counts. I've been to this one twice for different pets. Hopefully, the one I have now won't have to go here for a v-e-r-y long time. Definitely recommend if you have a late night or sunday emergency.

I love the convenience of having Dr. Hays come to my house--so much easier on the cats. She definitely has a way with animals; there were a few plaintive mews of dignity lost, but that was it. Dr. Hays' assistant is also good with pets. I'm very happy that I don't have to lug my poor felines around in the dreaded carrier any more.

The wells branch pet and bird clinic is the best. I took my dog in and they treated him as well as any human would expect to be treated. He was a little nervous at first, but with the warmth they provide in there, he was comfortable with the staff in no time. I would recommend it to anyone who has pets.

I have been using Northwest for about two years now and I have been very happy with their services. They also offer kenneling services. The daily rate is twenty dollars a day for a large dog. They tend to fill up very quickly over the holidays so call ahead to reseve a spot for your pet.

This is one of the best “cat only” veterinarian clinics we have ever been to. It is so nice not having to worry about stressing our kitty by taking them to a clinic with big dogs in the same waiting area or having dogs bark and scaring them.
The Veterinarian’s are very caring along with the Vet techs. You can tell that they truly enjoy and love their chosen professions. It is great to know that they have specialized in feline medicine, so there is a confident feeling to know that you are providing the best care for your cat.

I brought a dog I had saved from a rescue society here. I had him for almost six months and he was nearly two years old. The Doctor gave me the wrong advice about treatment for heart worms and my dog passed away less than 48 hours after the visit. They even refused to refund me the cost of medicines they had stuck me with. Avery was a healthy vibrant male cocker spaniel and could have easily lived to 8 or 9 if he had never been treated. Should a doctor advise you to treat a dog with heart worms, you might want to seek a second opinion. The Doctor only gave me two courses of treatment and there are actually THREE! The Proper course of treatment for an animal who is from a rescue society or who has potentially compromised health is to sterilize the heartworms so that they can no longer reproduce. They will eventually die off and your dog will be healthy. This is not a treatment method Dr. Clinton ever offered me.
