Okay, so I bought a first year car over the internet. Great, good, super. They had to do a dealer trade to get it but had the best price given. I did a no haggle pricing from their Internet Sales Manager. He was very good at his job, and knew how to sale cars.
When i took delivery of the car, they then told me of the extra options it had on it so I had to eat them ($120 pin stripe? please)
Not only that, I got a 1/2 tank of gas when I had left. Not cool and some minor scratches and paint chips from road debris.
overall, I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted, but I won't be returning to Haas again.

Just recently visited this small little shop on the Alamo Plaza, right across from none other than: the Alamo.
This store has a nice collection of goods from down under anywhere from foods to apparel.
The true reason I made my visit was for the Tim Tams, a chocolate cracker/cookie that can only be found in Texas at this shop, as my old roommate turned me on to them.
I've also ordered from them on line and spoken with the owners directly, and they are VERY nice. One problem is that they sell goods on line even if they aren't in stock.
Tip: be sure to e-mail them if timing is crucial especially around the holidays.

I chose this doctor merely due to location and the fact that he was on my insurance plan, but I must say that Dr Guthrie (at Today's Vision) was very professional and courteous.
To begin with:
I was very happy they could get me in on a Saturday, for one. Secondly, they were very fast in getting me processed (and my insurance) so that it didn't take too long.
One thing I am paranoid about is eye drops. Anything being put in my eye freaks me out. Thankfully they were able to dilate my eyes in a way that was relaxing and not as scary as previous people have applied them.
For that, they get the 4 stars. For everything else together I give them 5.

The Dallas World Aquarium stated out as a pretty small affair, with some great food and a few fish tanks to look at. What is has become is more of a family oriented place, with so many more attractions than before.
Some highlights: the albino alligator, piranha, jelly fish, and of course: the walk through aquarium tunnel (all water except the ceiling).
I would recommend this place to family's as a substitute to the zoo. The zoo is great, but kids can get tired of repetition. Switch things up, or take a date.
I've been about 10+ times, and still enjoy the experience. Be sure to look in you entertainment book for a coupon for admission too.

I recently revisited the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for a company holiday party. I was truly amazed again (10 years later) at how wonderful the experience is. The event featured holiday music and singers. Every seat in the house was packed and the mood was electric. Afterwords, we were treated to food and drinks, and live music. Everyone is very professional at the Dallas Symphony, and I would really enjoy going again on my own. I honestly feel there isn't any point on spending top dollar for the best seat in the house as I feel they are all a great spot to listen (which is why you came anyhow).
Parking, I parked in a lot a little east of the building to avoid the long line of valet. Just a tip

I haven't purchased anything from Cream, but I have frequented the shop a ton from walking the Drag with my girlfriend. They always have a cool collection of 70's, 80's vintage clothing. The shop even has concerts and other events out back such as live local music and fashion shows. The store seems very Austin/Community orriented which appeals to me greatly. Not only that, they have an african chilid aquarium inside to keep shoppers entertained. Hit up Cream for some stylish vintage and some of there special events if you're just walking the drag or catch their advertisments.

In my dorm I had a 29 gallon aquarium set-up from which all of my fish came from Aquatek. I was really shocked at how expensive their fish were after previously shopping at petco and pet palace; however, the fish in this store were so much better looking considering their tanks are immaculately clean. I bought both dry goods and live stock from Aquatek and I have never been disappointed with any purchases. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone in the market for freshwater fish and they have nice aqua planted tanks for sale too. You can find cheaper dry goods, but for the convince you can pay a premium

I took an old pair of Gucci shoes that were gifted down to me by my father to the Shoe Hospital. I requested they clean and buff out the many scuff marks my father put in them so that I could continue to wear them. Not only did they look brand new when I got them back, but it was so much cheaper than spending money on a brand new pair a 1/3 of the Gucci's original cost. Austin Shoe Hospital has 7 other locations in Austin and is obviously doing something right. I would definitely recommend them for both women and men's shoes. Or, if you are on a budget, and can't buy a new pair of shoes to replace a worn out pair then take them here and see what they can do for you.

I took a 6 week break dancing course at The DZ (Dance Zone) last summer and I had a great time doing. Our instructor was a very famous local bboy and he also brought in many people to help instruct us on how to dance. The workouts were hard, 2 hours. Sometimes they would be late, and once when it rained they showed up over half an hour late. The DZ isn't too organized though. I felt they were a little too laid back with regard to payment and being on time to instruct. I felt everyday was just made up on the fly as well. Other than that, I did have fun overall. I would check them out for other dancing as well. They have a pretty good location near the UT campus

Head to Austin Rock Gym for a great climbing experience. My good friend is an avid rock climber and when he's not scaling mt. Bonnell (just kidding), he's at austin rock gym. I've come to this location three times, and i have bought a gift certificate for a climbing session for my girlfriend to try. They have great facilities that are indoor. and spacious. They don't just let anyone climb, they are very strict on safety and you must go through an intro course if you've never climbed before. I recommend them as a great place to start, or to continue your rock climbing experience. Their monthly passes are very affordable. Check the entertainment book for another great coupon to this establishment!
