I'd heard about this store from a few friends so i though i'd stop in and see what it was all about. I was so suprised the selection and prices were oustanding. I got some high name boutique brand clothing for my child at some WOW cheap prices. The staff was so helpful they answered every single one of my questions. The store was also very clean and organized it was so easy to find everything. After shopping there i think anyone would have to be crazy to ever pay full price for childrens clothing again.
Pros: Awesome Staff, Clean, Very Inexpensive

After looking for several weeks, we found a bedroom set we like at Furniture Market in Austin. We went to pick it up and the loading dock guy was extremely helpful with loading and making sure the load was secured on the trailer...(even had rope on hand)
Got it home and unloaded,,,it was extremely heavy and I found myself wishing I had paid the delivery and set-up fee...nevertheless, got everything unboxed, in the house, and set up.
I soon noticed the dresser had a crack in it. The next day I spoke to Sean, (manager I assume), who assured me I would have another one delivered, and gave me a time and date. Today is that day and everything went as smoothly as I could imagine.
I saw some of the other reviews and was somewhat nervous when I saw the crack in the dresser that night, but Furniture Market backed the product and I can only say good things about them.

I think Cream Vintage is one of the best vintage clothing stores in town. Every week i go in a find something new, you just have to ask what they got that week. The prices are great and everyone working there is super cool. Ive seen some of the coolest shows there and they are always fun and under the radar. The south 1st location is really cool also.
Pros: new stuff every week
Cons: too many people in the store sometimes

That is your interpretation of a flee market. If it is 90% Mexican that participate, would only be fiscally sound to have Mariachi Music Playing in the background? Many of the people who go there look forward to the deals that the get on the same old crap... including socks, back packs and sports attire. So sorry it doesnt full fill you anglo saxon needs.
It is FUN place where you could pick up a cool knock off watch, some funky mexican delicacy like cactus or just simple enjoy the beautiful Mexican culture by people watching.

I have been shopping here for years and have seen it change so much!!! I really love the new changes. The people that work there are super friendly and will go out of there way to help you. I bought a table there not to long ago that wouldn't fit in my car and the lady there helped me disassemble it and load it, I didn't lift a finger. Not only that she was wearing a very nice dress to be doing such work! I highly recommend Hog Wild!
Pros: Large Selection of Quality Merchandise
Cons: They aren't open 24 hrs a day:(

i adore going to feathers. it's a treat.
the incense lingers and will always welcome you with that same scent every time you open their door. (smart move ladies!).
the pieces they choose to sell feel special. each item has a handwritten tag with a little name and price. cute, and again special. the merchandising is simple and organized by color. each room has a unique feel because of that, and the store feels like a ritzy boutique rather than your typical vintage store. the prices are higher because of the attention paid to each piece, and this doesn't bother me. i am willing to pay more because i feel like i am getting a unique and beautiful piece of clothing that no one else will have.
the owners and sales girls are all nice within the store, but they can definitely be a little snobby in real life.
overall, this is my favorite vintage spot in austin.
Pros: smell, location, special feeling of each piece
Cons: a little snobby
