Great Italian in Portrero Hill 8/18/2005

Aperto is a cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant in Portrero Hill. Excellent pasta dishes as well as fish and chicken. They have a good wine list but don't serve hard alcohol. I haven't been there in years, but I remember the food being really good. The service was fine and it is pretty easy to park. Good for a first date. more

Pleasantly surprised! 8/13/2005

Welcoming Atmosphere, food was excellent and service very friendly. We ended up there b/c we left another restaurant. We didnt what to expect here but to our surprise we were'nt disappointed at all. Great place for a cozy dinner without being too pricey. I would definitely go back and recommend to all my friends. more
