Clean and checks are wonderful! 6/25/2008

We've been to Americus Diamond numerous times for cleaning and to check my ring to make sure that the stones are tight. We have always been greeted warmly and treated with respect even though we were only here for a cleaning. When we purchased the ring they were readily available to help and yet gave us the space needed to shop. Thanks Americus Diamond and thanks to you, Enrique, for taking the time to explain several things to us. more

Loved my experience 6/25/2008

I have loved my experience at Americus Diamond. After spending a lot of time searching different jewelers, I've found that the staff, selections, prices and overall atmosphere far superior to the competitors. After searching many stores, I've found a number of selections available here impressive. Whether one is searching for ring color or style, there are probably at least three cases of possibilities to meet their desires. The process of buying a diamond was easy here, thanks to the knowledgeable staff and informative DVD. The education process went far beyond the competition, emphasizing the look of the diamond, rather than the four basic scales/factors. Also, the warranty is superb, and is one of the major reasons I am buying here. I know that the service department will do their best to keep the ring looking like the day I bought it for years to come. more

Extremely helpful service 6/25/2008

Americus Diamond is the only place I will shop for jewelry in San Antonio. The staff at Americus Diamond is always extremely helpful and the quality of service is second to none. I highly recommend Americus Diamond to anyone planning to buy jewelry. My visit to Americus Diamond today was wonderful! I came in to pick up my wife's engagement ring and to see about upgrading her wedding band. Mary found me the perfect upgrade to compliment her engagement ring within minutes of my arrival. I know my wife will love it and I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy shown by everyone at the store. more

Only place to buy jewelry 6/25/2008

Years ago I searched for the perfect wedding band. I probably went to more than half of the top jewelers in San Antonio. Finally, I ended up at Americus Diamond. (Why I didn't come here first I'll never know...) Americus Diamond truly has the largest and best selection in all kinds of jewelry. I was overwhelmed at everything I had to choose from. It was great! I watched the Americus Diamond TV show and it taught me a lot about what I needed to know about making a decision about an expensive piece of jewelry. I found out what I was looking for in price and quality and also gained the know-how to understand what I was purchasing. Besides the wonderful selection and outstanding quality, the staff won me over. Never once did I feel pressured or out of place when looking at a $20,000 ring. Everyone was more than happy to help, chit-chat, answer questions, and just plain be friendly. I will continue to only buy my jewelry at Americus Diamond. more

I am so pleased with the ring that my husband picked out for our engagement. Americus Diamond has been nothing but great for the both of us. I come in about every two months to get my ring cleaned and the people always make it look like the first time I saw it in the box. Beautiful. Wonderful jewelry education 6/23/2008

Wonderful customer service! I came in with almost no knowledge about rings or diamonds. The Americus staff spent four and a half hours with me just teaching me about the quality of diamonds and how to judge. I was able to tell the differences in color, cut and clarity with my own eyes and was able to pick out a beautiful diamond and setting that was perfect for the occasion. The staff does not work on commission and is only there to help you find the best quality rings and diamond for you. There was no pressure to buy and I would recommend this caliber of a store to anyone who is looking to get married or serious about purchasing diamonds. A definite cut above the rest! more

When my husband and I were searching for my perfect engagement/ wedding ring, nothing compared to what Americus Diamond had to offer. Not only was the jewelry collection endless and unbelievable, the staff was very kind and informative. You can tell they were there for me and I really appreciate that! It made a great experience for my now husband to enjoy jewelry shopping! Thanks! And now, bringing my ring in to be cleaned and checked, everyone is wonderful-- I know we'll be back. more

Best Experience at Americus Diamond 6/18/2008

My first visit to Americus Diamond was a very nice experience. Teresa, our diamond sales associate, was extremely nice, knowledgeable and helpful. However, I left that day without making a purchase. My second visit on June 17, 2008, was just as nice as the first, and what made it even better was that Teresa was still here and she not only remembered me, but knew what I was looking for. Yet again, Teresa was extremely helpful and patient with me as I struggled to find the diamond and setting. Teresa even played the part of ""hand model"" in my struggles. All in all, I have had only the best experiences with Americus Diamond and the staff. I will definitely be a return customer and refer friends and family to Americus Diamond. Thank you! more

Service from Enrique was extremely professional. He went above and beyond regular customer service to ensure that I was happy and satisfied with the modification/exchange of my ring. He recalled helping my fiance from over a year ago, which was very impressive to Tom and I. I am extremely satisfied with his services and would recommend Enrique and Americus Diamond to my friends and family. The Americus Diamond store is impressive from the time you walk in and afterwards. I was approached numerous times to ensure that I was being helped and I was always offered something to drink. I am happy with my purchase of my ring, Enrique's services, and the store manager's/owner's assistance in making my new ring perfect and to my liking. I appreciate Americus's flexibility, even after the purchase of my ring. more

Best Deal with No Pressure 6/16/2008

Steve G. and the crew at Americus have a customer for life because of their incredible customer service. While working on my wife's engagement ring, I spent hours with Steve learning about diamonds. His helpful, no pressure attitude impressed me so much that I recommend Americus Diamond and Steve to everyone I know who is looking for jewelry. I challenged the team at Americus by requesting that they make me a custom designed ring based only on a photo and my verbal modifications. In under a week, after owner approval, they did! I couldn't believe how beautiful the ring came out, and my wife loves it! There isn't a day that goes by that she isn't complimented on her wedding set. Americus' owner like the ring so much that they now carry it as one of their own products. Americus will always be my first and only choice for jewelry for the rest of our lives, and I'll recommend them to anyone. The sales team is incredible and very knowledgeable. If you're looking for the best deal with no pressure, Americus is the best place to shop. more

Customer for 20 years 6/13/2008

Mondelle was very pleasant and extremely helpful. I came in looking for a twenty year anniversary set, looking to keep the original marquise diamond. He helped me without any type of pressure. Also, Mondelle had my original engagement ring and wedding band cleaned-- Wow! It looks just like it did almost twenty years ago when we purchased them at Americus Diamond. Thanks! My husband will be coming in to purchase the set I selected hopefully in a few months. :-) more

Great exchange policy 6/11/2008

The people at Americus are always very nice and informative. Every time I have come here I have received quick service and never have been given a hard time about exchanges or sizing. If I have taken a ring in for sizing, I get it back the same day. I bought a ring, wore it home, decided I didn't like the setting, came back and got a different one. I was treated very professionally and was taken care of. To sum it up, it is a great place to go for your jewelry needs, big or small. more
