Jeff has this reputation (I heard this said of him by 2 other clients)... He's really good at what he does, but he never returns calls. Well, not never, but he and his assistant Annalisa do tend to let communication slacken. I'm using Jeff as my real estate lawyer for an apartment purchase. He's really friendly and I get the sense I have expertise on my side. You can reach him, if you do the calling & try more than once if you don't get him.
He saved a friend of mine a pretty penny on his closing, making back more than him fee. My friend felt reassured since he got the sense that Jeff was the "clearly the smartest guy in the room". That can be very useful in negotiation & just to make sure things are done right. This is why I went with him.
His fee is medium to expensive. I paid $1750 for his services on a 1 bedroom apt.
He is also an accountant. As an accountant, he has the same reputation.
