I had an opportunity to meet with Tara Davisson of Jenkins Davisson, LLC to discuss future property management. I have come to learn that Tara's company is different then other management companies in that she is able to offer very flexible terms and services to meet most anyone's property management needs. She can even meet with clients who wish to manage their own properties to help them set up the venture properly. On one side, Tara can review agreements, screen applicants, and find tenants and the owner can collect the rent and take care of the maintenance, or she can do it all and truly manage the property. One of the services she offers is itemizing and prioritizing future expenses. She can even set up an escrow account to save for the upcoming large expenses such as a new roof, if that is what the owner needs. If you currently have your property with a company that is not very reliable, then Tara can help you get the property back into shape, getting in quality tenants at rents that are appropriate for a nicely maintained building.
