Thai Food in a Cute Place 1/19/2006

I used to love this place when I was a UT student in Austin. Their shrimp dishes are really great, and so are their noodles. They also have a great outdoor-style patio in the back that is really nice to hang out or go on dates. The only complaint I have is that I have heard from other people that they haven't been treated well by the management. It personally hasn't happened to me, but I've heard two or three stories about it. Overall, it's worth a shot, but if you have coupons or special requests that require you to deal with management, I say no comment!! more

This place is the best! 10/6/2005

Thai passion has great food. I love everything on their menu. It can be hard to find parking since it is in downtown but do not let that discourage you from going. This is a nice place for a casual dinner or even for a romantic dinner date. Don't forget to ask for some complementary Thai candy before you leave. more

My parents HURL everytime we drive by this place. 8/11/2005

My parents were dragged to this dump by my brother who obviously had his taste buds burned off at youth. All the food is sickeningly sweet and lacks any flavor other than sweetness. I have to admit that the rice balls are to die for, but who the hell wants to eat 50 of those? Oh, and I still fume over how they ripped me off, refusing to take a coupon once after we had already eaten and ordered up a fortune. more
