I really enjoyed both of my experiences at Sushi Tango. The atmosphere is a bit trendy, but it IS Uptown. All the fish was beautiful and fresh, presented well. If you're expecting Edomae sushi, you will be disappointed, but it's difficult to find that anywhere in the US, let alone at a reasonable price. The prices are reasonable, the chefs are personable, and the sushi bar is the centerpiece of the restaurant, a vast change from many sushi places in town. I won't quit going to other restaurants, I like to have ""purist"" sushi occasionally, but it's definately in the top of the rotation. I personally enjoy the experimental side of their menu. As far as anything not sushi, I think that it's in the name. If you want Shabu-shabu, go elsewhere. If you want sushi, go to Sushi Tango.
Pros: Quality food, Fun atmosphere, Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive, Parking in Uptown, Slow when busy
