I prefer the Fremont Rudy's (they seem to have the best peeps) but I would go to any of them in the city. I can get a stylish haircut for $22 (including a nice tip) and feel good ...

Rudy Toot Toot 7/13/2006

My husband is sort of a haircut junkie - he is always wanting a haircut. Granted, his hair is short, but c'mon...anywhoooooo- Rudy's is his new fave. He can always walk in to the downtown location and get a cut within 20 minutes or so and they have good music playing (sometimes a little loud) - and magazines for me to read while I wait for him. OR - while I am waiting I can sit at Cyclops on the corner for a delicious drink and appetizer. Good Stuff - and it's always a great cut that seems to last a little longer than the rest. more

Amazing Cut Every Time 4/20/2006

I prefer the Fremont Rudy's (they seem to have the best peeps) but I would go to any of them in the city. I can get a stylish haircut for $22 (including a nice tip) and feel good for at least a month (I have short hair). Then I just come back. My favorite barber is Lewis and he usually has a long line, but I don't care. It gives me time to walk around Fremont. The music is always interesting, which is nice too. more

good quick cut 8/17/2005

I really enjoyed gong to Rudys for my hair cut they were very friendly and quick too. My cut was a pretty simple affair so I can't really say whether or not this is the place to go for something difficult but based on the other customers I would guess they have a pretty good reputation for getting your hair just how you want it (minus a stylus anyways). Since I don't always have tons of money to shell out for a styled hair cut, Rudys serves as a great "keep me looking good til next time I've got money sort of place". Oh yeah, they also played the Clash once while my cut was happening, so you know, bonus points or whatever. more

Am I the only one in Seattle that doesn't like Rudy's 8/17/2005

I'm in the minority. I know this review isn't going to win me any friends but I just am not fond of Rudy's Barber Shop. After hearing so many glowing reviews of Rudy's Barber shop I just had to go. I left feeling like I got scammed. My only requirement of going to get my hair cut someplace new is that the person cutting my hair has to have a better haircut than me. Is that too much to ask? This was not the case at Rudy's. I realize they try to be experiemental but come on! The guy cutting my hair had what looked like chunks taken out of his hair. I may just be getting old but I found them a little too hipster/avant-garde for my tastes. This is definitely not your old school barber shop. more
