All 5 of my family members go to this office and we love it! I have been very impressed with everyone that works in this office from the receptionist to the girls who take the payment, and with all the hygenists that I have seen. The office is always very clean, they have all the latest technology and I hardly ever have to wait. I would rate this office very high. We have been really pleased and we have been going there for a couple of years. They now even offer evening hours so I don't have to pull my kids out of school for dental appts. That makes it very convenient and easy to schedule visits. more

I went to Rose Dental for a crown procedure with Dr Bonilla. The front staff was very friendly and I was brought back for my procedure on time. The procedure itself was very smooth and pleasant, the doctor and her assistant were very professional, knowledgable and caring. I, like most people get very anxious to go to the dentist and I must say I had the best experience so far at a dental office and would highly recommend Rose Dental and Dr Bonilla to my family and friends. Bad costumer service 2/16/2010

I do not recommend Rose Dental to anyone who wants to be treated with courtesy. I had a crown put in by one of the Rose Dental Group dentists and she did a good job, but when my insurance did not pay for the services I was provided, no one from Rose Dental even bothered to call me! They said they sent me a statement in the mail, but it was returned. To this day I'm still puzzled why no one thought of picking up the phone and letting me know that there was a balance on my account! Instead, I did not find out about this until I came back for a follow up visit 6 months later!! At which point I was informed that there was an unpaid balance and that my account was subject to 6 months-worth of finance charges! Needless to say I refused to pay the finance charges since I wasn't even aware of the fact that there WAS a balance on my account. I told them I would pay the other amount in full (a little over $800) only if they agree to take the finance charges off. They agreed. I'm giving them two stars because I still think someone should have called me and let me know that there was an unpaid balance on my account. Pros: good location Cons: bad costumer service more

Bad place for working people 11/12/2009

If you schedule an early appoitment dont expect to get to work on time. Ive gone to the dentist my whole life and i have never had such a bad experience with a dentist. I scheduled a 8:00 am appoitment and they told me to come in at 7:45. So i was there early to do paperwork. I did not get to the chair until 8:30 and then at 8:45 when still no dentist i had to inform them that i had to leave for work. They got mad at me for having to leave and told me to find someone else who can accommodate me so thats what i did. Pros: Close to my house Cons: If you schedule an early appoitment more

DO NOT GO TO ROSE DENTAL....they make up ways to make money! 11/12/2008

I go to the dentist every six months, so when I moved to Austin, I was looking for a dentist and Rose Dental was in my insurance network. I wish I would have read the reviews before going because I would have chose another dentist. Since I was a new patient they made me come in for a consultation with the doctor, before getting a cleaning. WOW was I blown away. It felt like they were trying to find ways to make extra money. Like the comment before me they were saying things I have never heard before from other dentists. It would be one thing if I never go to the dentist, but I was shocked by what they were saying. I couldn't get in for teeth cleaning for a month. I have decided to go to a new dentist and even getting my exrays was diffucult. I had to pay a fee to get my exrays for my new dentist and in the past I have never had to do this...this just proved to me they are trying to find ways to make money! Please be aware and avoid Rose Dental with all possiblities especially if you are unfamiliar with ethical dental practices. more

be aware 8/22/2008

These guys may do a good cleaning, but that's pretty much all. My doctor (T. Sheldon) wanted to do a number of things I didn't think I need, nor could he intelligibly justify. I ended up not following his advice and am currently shopping for another dentist. Anyway, don't take what they say at face value, seek a second opinion, and if you have the choice, get a doctor you can trust. Cons: incompetent more

Find another dentist... Rose Dental Group is a bunch of amateurs 8/12/2008

Rose Dental Group has a nice waiting area and some of the staff are friendly. Also they were very good with my 5 year old son during his appointment. However, they are not thorough at all with their cleanings. They do the quickest job at cleaning teeth that I have ever experienced. I always feel like there are a few areas they could have cleaned better. My husband who has braces is in and out of there about as quickly as I am which is terrible considering they have to clean around his braces. He feels they are very rough with him too, not considerate at all. Another negative is we never seem to see a dentist. At other dentists we've gone to, we always had our teeth cleaned every 6 months and the dentist would at least stop by for a quick look at our teeth on each visit. This never happens at Rose Dental group. The only time we've seen the dentist here is at the exam when we have x-rays. We will no longer be going to this dentist and would recommend you don't start either. Oh, one other thing, when we made our first appointment, they would only look at our teeth then we had to make a separate appointment for a cleaning which we couldn't get until 3 months later. Why wouldn't they just schedule a cleaning on our first visit when we requested it? Poor . Customer Service BEYOND S _ _ _ _, but he is a great dentist 7/6/2008

I have gone to Dr. Cordera for many years and his old assistants were better than good, but the one he has had for the last 3 years is dumber than dirt! Dr. C is the only dentist I know that cares enough to do a cleaning himself and he is the only dentist in the last 25 years that has not made my mouth hurt after a cleaning. My teeth would hurt for 5-6 months after a cleaning so I was only getting them cleaned every couple of years. Dr. C explained that the Dental Hygienists were bruising my teeth and that it takes a long time for teeth to get over being bruised. If Dr. C were not so good I would have switched due to his completely stupid assistant; I mean were are talking absolutely no ability to "think outside the box." I am honestly not sure how she makes it to and from work on a daily basis she is so unbelievably stupid. Dr. C PLEASE get a new assistant! Pros: I have never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment, my teeth do not hurt after appointments Cons: Dumber thna dirt staff, staff, staff, staff, staff!!! more

AVOID Rose Dental! 3/7/2008

My family is moving to a different dental group; we will never use Rose Dental again. Over the years we have experienced rude behavior from some of the office staff and unsympathetic behavior from some of the dental assistants. Also, BEWARE that they will not inform you if your insurance goes out of net work, and they will require you to pay the entire amount for dental work, even if they had given you an estimate showing insurance paying half! more

I called in to get an appointment. The receptionist, I still remember her name, Kathy, was very rude when I asked her some questions about the appoinment. I told her that she was rude and hanged up the phone. I definitely do not want to get services from Rose Dental Group. Rude receptionist! Pros: Easy to get an appointment. Guess what? No one wants to go there! Cons: You'll be harrased by receptionist! more

Rude Office Staff 5/17/2007

Although the dentists seem competent, the office staff, particularly the office manager, is rude. They have often cancelled my appointment on short notice due to overscheduling hygenists. When I complained they suggested I go elsewhere. In short, they do not value their clients. Expect to get treated like a number, not a person. Pros: Competent Dentists Cons: Rude office staff more

Don't settle for Rose Dental 6/11/2006

Dentists at Rose are good- especially Dr. Eslami who I visited with but overall practice experience is below average IMO. Waiting room is sterile and plain- just blah. I got three reminder messages for my appt. from three different people. Seems very disorganized and very little personalized service was given to me. Front desk was not very friendly and did not greet me upon arrival. Worst of all, Rose does not use the latest and greatest in dental technology and practices. I will be looking for a new dentist downtown somewhere where I know a bunch of new practices are starting up. Very expensive dentists. Put on my treatment plan optional a $96 cosmetic procedure that cost more and was not needed. He was not open to a more economical crown. He did four crowns for me three in front and one molar. But after he had to bring the price down for my crown work. He said that I needed sedation to have crown work done. Which wasn't the case since he was able to do four crowns on me without that. I believe he did this because he had to come down on the price. more
