I like Austin a lot (I live here) but this boat tour is just. I do not recommend it. The customer service is poor and overall is just not worth the money. Their website makes it look like a nice time, but my experience was far from it.

Vivo is one of the latest Manor hotties, so to speak. It's nicely and wildly decorated, it's got a wonderful outside patio with a beautiful fountain and it's got good food. What more do you need for a trendy spot on Manor? Well, not much but Vivo adds to the list by having some of the better puffy tacos around Austin. Their salsas are also spicy and smoky.
My only down-point is that Vivos is ALWAYS crowded. You have to show up at 11 AM to be able to have a table and be able to leave an hour and a half later. Not very work-lunch friendly. But their food makes up for the tardiness.

It's New to Me Consignment store sells upscale resale furniture. They offer some great pieces, but the prices are a little high for resale furniture. They are open Sundays, which is a nice time to go look, since they get new items every week. They are right on Burnet Road, and the sales staff are very nice and not pushy.

I originally found this place online when I was looking for an apartment last year. Lisa helped me from this company and she was great. She was honest and friendly and very thorough. She showed me an apartment and it was the only one I ever looked at. I would highly recommend this place.

I went in this store to search for a Baptism Gift. I found a gift and a whole lot more. This store has gifts for all the religious milestones and occasions. They also carry a wide variety of books on many different religious aspects. The store is very organized and clean. The staff is very helpful, too.

This boba shop that's located right next to the UT campus and in the same building as Starbucks is definitely just "ok". It tastes okay, but because of the variety of boba being sold around other portions near the UT campus, it really just doesn't compare. Coco's and Tapioca House definitely have the best boba (Tapioca House is better and cheaper) and even the Pho restaurant on the drag (Guadalupe) sells boba. If you want a real boba experience I recommend Coco's or Tapioca House. The boba shop itself is small as well and they do not serve food like the other boba shops.

I can't stand buffets -- their lunch buffet is no exception. As with any buffet, as the quantity of food prepared goes up, the quality definitely goes down. Don't let that deter you from the a la carte entrees...if you are of Indian or Pakistani origin, you will realize that their food is delicious, AUTHENTIC Indo/Pak, unlike the posers at Clay Pit who Americanize every morsel. Don't forget to order the Mango Lassi, a delightful yogurt drink. Remember one thing...you go there for the excellent food, not the ambience.

Cheapo Discs is a great affordable place to shop for the greatest selection of used music. It does take awhile to browse through but when you have time I can assure you, you will never leave empty handed! They have a wide variety of music genre’s, so there is something for everyone. The staff is knowledgeable and always seem to know exactly where to find what you’re looking for.
