A good Pho soup 4/3/2006

If you are looking for a place that makes delicious Vietnames Pho soup. Their broth is really good and their shrimp spring rolls with sauce are very tasty. If you have never had this soup and have always wanted to try it, you should go and try it at this place. You will want to come back. Plus, the owners are super nice. more

I agree, this is mighty good pho! 1/30/2006

I agree with the other reviewers, this is some good pho . The other dishes are very good too. I have had vegetarian dishes as well as beef and chicken and all have been good quality. The place is clean, nice and the staff friendly and service is fast. more

I love Pho Cyclo 1/13/2006

Pho Cycle has an incredibly satisfying vegetarian dish: the Spicy Lemongrass tofu with noodles. It comes in typical Vietnamese noodle bowl fashon with a big bunch of basil and herbs, a nest of tender rice noodles, chopped peanuts, cucumber, shaved radish, carrot etc with some really tasty slightly smoky spicy strips of lemongrass tofu and a cup of soy (vegan) based broth to pour over the whole thing. If I ate meat I'd likely go for the charred pork version of this dish, which looks similar but replace the tofu with large flat strips of really good looking charred pork and includes some fish sauce in the broth. The staff is always really friendly too. 8/11/07 Addition... Holy Cow, I just had the vegetarian Pho at pho cyclo and I don't know what took me so long!! Only the Broadway location has the vegetarian version (the 1st ave one has a bowl with tofu, but it has chicken broth instead of vegi broth). In addition to the regular pho stuff, this one comes with chunks of cauliflower and carrot, roasted garlic, and a little bowl of the MOST AMAZING spicy red ginger sauce that you can dump in. I am a big fan of Than Brothers, but I might have a new favorite. This bowl, with the ample vegis and tofu that somehow feels less fried than Than Bro's, actually feels more like a balanced meal. Delicious!!! more

best Pho in seattle, arguably west coast 11/23/2005

ok, Pho Cyclo in Sodo is arguably the best Pho not only in seattle, but i'd throw in SF as well. (I'm comparing it to Sais in the financial dist) the new location up on broadway is also great, but they are still ironing out the kinks since it just opened. actually, disregard this review....don't go to Pho Cyclo because it's already too busy. very clean, very nice people working there, broth is unbelievable, outstanding value. (insert slurping sound here) "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" more

looking for a cheap, satisfying and good lunch 9/21/2005

This place is a stroll from my work. It has the best lunches in the area, for the price. You can get a big sandwich on french bread for less then $3. Fresh spring rolls are about $3.50 and the Pho is awesome! Really, you can't go wrong with the menu. I used to go almost everyday for lunch, but iI had to cut back because I realized it was an addiction. Try the Bubble Tea with Taro! If you are planning to dine in, come before noon or an hour after because it can be a mad house! more

Great quality Vietnamese Food 8/16/2005

I eat at this restaurant for lunch...hmm...probably 2 or 3 times a week. They are always quick and the quality of the food is always top notch. If you're looking for a cheap, good quality lunch I'd check this place out. One thing I noticed though is their pho does seem to have a lot of MSG in it. But..boy does it taste good! more
