Zatz is generally pretty busy weekend mornings and I completely understand why- they make the best bagels in town and they offer up plenty of great breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The cream cheese is made fresh and available in many different flavors. They have a new flavor montlyThe staff is always friendly and speedy as they can be. I recommend the Bagel dogs!

I love this place. It would be a lot easier for me to just walk down the PCC nearest me and pick one up- but going to the actual bakery is best. The FRENCH TOAST is my favorite. They have tons of different flavors and icings. This place rocks. I have never been a donut fan, but Mighty-O won me over. Now I crave them nightly......(ok, not every night- but I am saying they are GOOD STUFF).

They have great priced beer and it doesn't get very crowded on weeknights. Warning- Plan ahead if you are going on St. Paddy's day, they have a cover and a line out the door.

I love this place too! I got a PMB from them for cheaper then the USPS offered, plus it is so much nicer to go in to the Alki Mail and Dispatch then to the Post Office. They have a lovely selection...
I love this place too! I got a PMB from them for cheaper then the USPS offered, plus it is so much nicer to go in to the Alki Mail and Dispatch then to the Post Office. They have a lovely selection of cards, fax machines, shipping services, and I can get packages shipped there so I don't have to worry about packages being left outside my doorstep. I defenitely recommend checking them out for coffee or mailing services.

I love these guys. I've had a couple of bad experiences with mechanics but these guys tell it like it is every time. If something doesn't need to be fixed they'll tell you so. I also go in there for my oil changes. They have reasonable prices and speedy service. They even fit me in on Saturday once last minute, even though I know they were already overbooked that day. I strongly recommend them for auto service and tires- they will always make it right.

This place is OK, every time I have gone in it has been very crowded, but the bad kind of crowded, like very meat market-ish and yuppy. It was just so-so with me. The service was ok, but I am not a fan of working all day and having to stand with a beer. I had a sandwich that was pretty good, but nothing outstanding. I would rather sit down and pay good prices in a more laid back environment. Not very original.

I just experienced the wonder that is Cosco for the first time three weeks ago. I was awestruck. It really is worth the membership price because the savings are so great. My boyfriend and I usually ended up running to Safeway every other day for odds and ends and it resulted in spending way too much money on groceries. With Cosco, we spent a good chunk of money, but it will last us the whole month and it is way less then we would have spent at Safeway! It will be hard to find 'organic' and natural choices, but they do have a few things and they are adding more all the time, from what I hear. Go for the frozen foods selection and go for the gas!

I think this place is Queen Anne's little secret, it is very cool and normally not too crowded. It is a great place to come and read or to chat with friends. There is a great patio out front for you to sit outside and people watch or to be away from the crowd on the inside. Awesome heaven and hell decor.

This is a great coffee house for meeting up with friends or for people watching . I used to come here to study in college and I could get a lot done without feeling bored out of my mind. It is very 'hipster' and the people working aren't going to be the same smiley baristas you find working at brand X, but that is what makes the place cool. They do serve up a great cup of coffee and the hot chocolate is good too. It can get crowded, so don't be surprised if you can't find a seat.
