My experience with O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center was great. We had them put in wood floors in our bedroom, closet and stairs. The installation was mostly smooth with the exception of a delay for the flooring on the stairs. They had to have that piece custom made. They are very nice people and the floors look absolutely beautiful! more

Linda Mason was out contact person from O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center and she assured use, from the very beginning, that everything done in our home would be done exactly as she would expect it to be done in her home. From the time we spent with her in the showroom to the very last time she walked our of our door, she executed that mission perfectly. The contract labor that they had worked for many other people besides O'Krent's and they were absolutely professional, finished in an amazingly timely fashion, and were conscientious. O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center carpeted and floored our entire house. We've been using them for probably the last six years. O'Krent's assisted with the color and pattern selection. They then assisted us with a warranty service when the installation of two of the carpets ended up being defective. We had to replace three entire rooms on warranty. Of course O'Krent's being the company it is, the warranty was completely honored. The work turned out perfectly. We continue to use O'Krent's because of the quality of their service.They are dependable and reliable. We use them especially because of the skills and competency of their service representative Monica Mills. We also have used their wonderful installer Robert Flores. He did all the warranty replacements and installations. I would not hesitate to recommend O'Krent's. I would tell you to go to the show room and ask for Monica. She has a keen eye for colors and patterns. She really helped us find what we needed for our rooms. more

The sales person at O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center was very good and very cooperative. The installation all went well. There were three installers and it took them six days to install all the tile. They were nice. They were a little bit sloppy, but they worked hard. The tile looks good. I think O'Krent's is very good. I would recommend the sales person I had. It was a lot of tile and it took a long time, but I understand that. They said in the beginning that it was going to take five to six days. more

My wife and I used O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center for some carpeting in our home, and it was a really good experience. This flooring center has a vast selection of carpeting. Our sales associate, Monica Mills, was REALLY outstanding. You could tell she had been in the business for a while because she was extremely knowledgeable on carpet design. She had good, simple taste, which we liked. We ordered carpeting for our entire second floor and for the winding staircase that leads from the first floor to the second floor. The installation was excellent, as well. The one who supervised the whole thing was very professional. He and his assistants knew exactly how to lay the carpet out on the winding staircase, so that the angles were arranged perfectly. The installation took longer than expected because we would move all the furniture from one side of the house to the other in order to work on the one side. Then, we would move everything to the opposite side and work on the other. On top of that, we were also painting both sides of the house, so in total, it took about 6-8 weeks to complete everything. We were 100% pleased, however, with the end results. It was a pleasure to work with professionals. O'Krent's is the best carpeting company in San Antonio with the most terrific product. Our experience really stood out, and we would particularly recommend Monica Mills to anybody. more

This is our third time using O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center. We keep using them because they always do a good job, and they are very honest with us. They put a carpet in our house the first time, and we were so pleased with their work, we had them do it again and then once more. All of the salespeople and installers are nice people. First, we went looking around at different businesses. O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center were the nicest when we walked in the store. They don't let you hang around very long without someone getting there to help you. They have a receptionist right at the front, so you get immediate attention when you walk in. It's really nice and makes you feel like they care. We looked at bigger stores to price the flooring we wanted, and they didn't really come up with what we were looking for. What we wanted is not in style nowadays. We went to one more place just to check it. I don't remember being badly treated, but they definitely weren't as welcoming as O'Krent's. Both companies then came to our house to measure and give estimates. O'Krent's was MUCH less for the exact same wood! It's also just up the street, so they are conveniently local. When O'Krent sent the workers out, they were very nice and polite. They didn't take a lunch break and just worked through. They did a great job and paid attention to any comments we had. I told them I didn't like the look of a particular board, and they took it right out to put in a different one that matched better. They even brought Sam O'Krent over to check things and say hello. O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center made us incredibly happy at each step of the process. It was a really great experience for us. more

The sales associate Edward was very accomadating and helpful, we appreciated his willingness to meet at our home with the samples. The wood floor installers Carl, Ellio, Andy and the carpet installers Jenero, Martin and Jerry were very qualified and professional. They handled my case very carefully and I really appreciated it. The carpet I got before was damaged and they came and checked everything and replaced it for me. I am very pleased with the outcome now. They replaced it and now it looks perfect. They really worked with me to fix the damaged carpet from the manufacturer and it is well installed. We had used another company to put our carpet in but we were not happy with the customer service or the way they did the work. When we decided to do tile, I thought to try O'Krent's. The first day I went there the salesman was very helpful. He came out to the house and did measurements and gave us some advice. I really liked the guys that came and laid the floors down. They were sweet, wonderful, and helpful. They cleaned up after themselves and put everything back where it went. I was so impressed with them over the other company we used. more

O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center removed our carpet and put hardwood floors down in three rooms. They did it quickly, put up shields to minimize dust, were helpful and cleaned up after themselves. They made it a pleasant experience and now that I am using another company to redo my bathroom I wish I was receiving as good of a service as Abbey Flooring offers. My experience was fine. The only problem is I did not receive a receipt for my payment and it's been two months now.
