AVOID FRAMING DEPARTMENT!!!! 6/26/2009

I have had one poor experience after the next with the Hobby Lobby framing department. Originally I had a beautiful work of art framed and when I got it back it was completely white and looked very cheap. I was very sad so I decided to go back and ask to have everything reframed and rematted and of course was willing to pay for having this done. After waiting for them to finish (they were ""running behind"" a few days) I received a phone call informing me that my artwork had been ripped. A word of advice- if you have something to be framed that is meaningful to you please go elsewhere. Pros: willing to compensate damage Cons: getting your artwork ruined more

Some of the best accent pieces for decorating! 11/14/2005

I love to browse through the decoration aisles in Hobby Lobby. They always have the nicest selection of trinkets, mirrors, floral arrangements, and knick knacks. The stores is huge, with all sorts of hobby items from scrapbooking, painting, sewing, woodworking, and anything else you can think of! The stores are closed on Sundays. They do have ads in the paper, although they are sometimes hard to find. It is sometimes hard to find help. PROS: great assortment of craft items, huge store! CONS: closed on Sunday (which is probably good for the employees though!) more

Fun place, fun classes. 6/14/2005

Great place to spend a lot of time with a little or big budget. Lots of ideas to inspire. The jewelry classes with Kathy Miller are terrific to take. PROS: Inspiring, affordable and educational. CONS: Slow check-out, not the most helpful staff. more
