yum yum this spa is greater than anything. i had a chocolate body wrap one time felt so warm and fuzzy like heaven the employees are all good in the heart good people. beaitufl design, interior or web or brochures. their designs are very sweet and nice and its a nice place in general and not too expensive at the same time very convienet to whre i live so is in west portal more

Clean & Pleasant 4/4/2008

This is a nice, small local place, easy to get to. Staff is friendly and helpful. I've tried several different types of massages, including pre-natal, and have always had a good experience. I've referred a couple people who have also returned. I like that you can stay with one massage therapist, instead of having a ton of different people or a big turnaround in employees. You do have to call in advance as they book up quick. Pros: Local, Good Massage Therapists Cons: A little pricy compared to other places, no showers or relaxing lounge more

I go there when I need a stress reliever - massage. Been going for the past couple of years. When I get there, I immediately relax because it's warm and smells plesantly nice. Very nice staff. I've already recommended it to my family and friends. Cons: Parking. Metered in the neighborhood. more

Nice if you get lucky 3/20/2008

Fruition Day Spa's atmosphere is lovely, and SOME of the staff members are terrific. I've had both great and awful experiences there. They recently sent an email blast asking clients to post great reviews in return for discounts...strikes me as a bit tacky. Pros: A couple of the technicians are really skilled and lovely. Cons: Others are just plain awful. more

Deliciously Relaxing 3/20/2008

One Sunday afternoon I had a body wrap and wondered why I hadn't done it before. It was all that I expected and more. It was relaxing, refreshing, rejuvenating and I told all my friends that to relax and relieve the day to day stress, they should go to Fruition Spa. Excellent services and everyone is very attentive. Best wax ever! 3/19/2008

Bikini waxes don't have to hurt - that should be Fruition's motto. I used to go to Silk for my bikini waxes and one day when they couldn't see me, I found Fruition. I will never again go anywhere else for a wax! I took my friend for her first ever bikini wax and she was amazed at the fact that it didn't hurt. Yes - they are that good! Plus, the staff is super friendly and they never make you feel uncomfortable. I tell all my friends that this is the best place. I love me some Fruition! more

Great Tan! 4/26/2007

When I moved to SF last year it was so difficult to find a place that did a spray on tan, most of the places I found were downtown and parking is too difficult down there or if I found some place close it was way too overpriced. However, a month ago I went on citysearch and tried to find some place close by and Fruition Day Spa came up. I've been going to this spa for a few weeks now to get a spray on tan and it is great! Not orange at all, and the price is pretty reasonble for san francisco, they also have packages which make it even more afforable. It has never streaked and the lady that does my tan is very professional and nice. Even more parking is really easy in west portal and the spray on tan only takes 20 mins. I would recommned this spa for a spray on tan to any of my friends, or anyone who else is looking to get some color in this (most of the time) sunless city! Pros: Parking/Nice Staff/Tan wasn't orange or streaky/No sales pressure. more

Best Massage Ever! 1/13/2007

I finally found a place to get a massage without having to drive downtown and deal with traffic/parking. This cute and small boutique spa is wonderful. I had a 50 minute swedish massage and have to say it was one of the best I have ever had (and, I have had a ton!). It was fairly easy to park. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles (shower/sauna) of what a hotel spa does but the massage therapist was amazing. I loved how when she started she put a hot towel on my shoulders. When she rubbed my arms that was the best!!! I highly recommend this place for a massage. The prices are o.k. Wish they were a little cheaper. Pros: Massage Therapist was Amazing!!! Cons: High Prices, No showers more

Kim gives amazing facials, but what I regularly visit her for is waxing. She does such a wonderful job, and it's as painless as possible! She's super friendly and makes me feel completely comfortable. Pros: Clean and relaxing, easy parking and impeccable service. more

Hidden in West Portal .... 9/23/2006

Its probably hard to notice in such a busy street and many shops across West Portal. But this boutique spa is wonderful. The front desk service is EXCELLENT! Starts on-time, clean, and very relaxing massages. Jennifer gave me a swedish massage and is very gentle, hands were always warm, and very oriented to the customer's needs. As a spa junkie, I wanted to try out Fruition since it was one of the top ten spa of Citysearch. I had a Fruition Signature Facial. I heard fancy words like "rose cleanser" and "organic products". My facialist and everyone I came in contact with were extremely friendly. I think thats why a lot of people liked this place, it's not a snooty uptown spa. Its a tiny, cute little spa... but nothing special to come back to. Why don't I give this place the same props as everyone else who is in love with it? I know other places that can give a similar facial, at half the price. Many places, actually, can give you a facial like this.. because its very basic. In fact, other places offer things like a special mask, extractions, oxygen, etc.. that this facial was lacking. If I'm going to pay the price similar to an uptown spa, I expect uptown spa quality. And thats what this place was missing.. Pros: friendly staff, parking Cons: price and quality/skill more

Time well invested 11/5/2005

I have been getting massages at Fruitition for about 6 months now, and love the pampering! I have searched for someone who could give a good deep massage in a clean, relaxing atmosphere and was so happy to find Deborah at Fruititon. It is time and money well spent to ensure great physical and mental health. The location and parking availability is also a really nice plus! Pros: good service, clean, relaxing more

The staff are personable and professional and very accomodating. They are open 7 days a week and until 8:00 p.m. during the week. This makes booking an appointment very easy. They offer a very relaxing atmosphere and can compete with any of the downtown spas. more

Great Day Spa in the Neighborhood 10/31/2005

As soon as I walk in there I begin to relax. The atmosphere is very soothing and the staff is great. I get waxes and massages there regularly and love it. I also love that I don't have to drive downtown to pamper myself. After a 90 minute massage, I can be home in 5 minutes. Pros: Soothing, Good Parking, Friendly more
