Try out different beer 6/26/2012

I love the foodery because you can go make a mixed six pack of beer very easily. Its the best way to try beers you are interested in without risking the chance of hating it and have a whole 6pack of it sitting around. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful too. Great place. more

Several Hundred Bottles of Beer on the Wall 8/17/2005

Foodery: A misnomer because most people don't come for food. 8/5/2005

The name Foodery is a misnomer because most people don't go to it for food. Although technically The Foodery is a convenience store, the main "convenience" item that people get here is beer. For such a small space the selection is terrific (Microbrews, European, Asian, you name it). Best of all, the beer is chilled and ready to drink. The 10% discount on a mix-or-match six pack won't save you too much: chances are you'll walk out with an $18 six-pack. But that won't stop you from going back since it's the only place where you can buy beer to go within walking distance of Wash Square and Society Hill. more
