STAY AWAY FROM DOUG 7/8/2009

STAY AWAY FROM DOUG! I had never been there before but heard it was a great place. I went in and Doug had an opening in his schedule (now I know why.) I asked for an outline of three small hearts. No shading, no nothing. I've gotten ink before and know this is cake. He drew it I told him to make the hearts more narrow and we'd be good to go. I was polite, positive and excited. He crushed the mood by giving major attitude and instead of treating me like a paying customer, acted annoyed and like he was doing me a favor. He went back to fix the hearts. Literally 5 minutes of his time. The tattoo took 15 minutes and when I looked in the mirror, he had taken it upon himself to draw his own shading. He messed up on one of the lines and so the heart was uneven. He was unapologetic, charged me $120 (the tattoo is the size of a golf ball), didn't thank me, and gave me no cleaning instructions. He treated permanent body art like it's a joke and a pain. I left in tears, $120 poorer, and feeling like I was duped. Don't let his portfolio of art fool you, he is a heartless man who can't even draw a heart, much less treat a customer properly. This was easy money for him and instead of seizing the opportunity, he ruined my tattoo that I am stuck with forever. Cons: Everything. See below. more

Very proffesional. Very friendly. Always asks you questions about you design, where you want it, they give you there suggestion on what they think will make it better or stand out more and ask you what you think of the idea, without completely making it something different. Pros: Professional, Great Artist, Professional, Professional Cons: Metered Parking, especially if your session is more than 1 or 2 hours. more

Brilliant!! 10/4/2006

This place has the most talented tattoo artists in the city. I love everything they have done for me and I have seen nothing but brilliant work come out of that place. Pros: Great work. Good location. Cons: You might have to wait a while for an appointment. more
