Best

The food is good, but not amazing. But the prices are good, the delivery guy is always cool, and delivery is prompt and free.

got a diet coke when i ordered a coke. got 9 wings when i ordered 10. so i was pretty pissed upon receiving my food. however, the cheesy garlic bread and the wings weren't bad... but not exceptionally tasty either more

OK. This is my third order from Chico's. I ordered hot sandwiches the previous two times and they were VERY good. We decided on pizza this time. I can't complain about the flavor OR the quantity of the pizza. It is actually quite good. What I can complain about is the bread twisty wire that I found half way through my third slice! Glad I didn't poke a hole in my mouth. Haven't complained to Chico's directly but I'm hoping these reviews are moderated and maybe someone will try to reach me. more

best in sf 1/3/2009

From the wide verities of pizza stores in sf the best would have to be Chico?s pizza it is perfect hot pizza and given by the slice the crust is great. This store has good serving the owner of this shop is really nice. It is a clean restaurant. And makes me feel good eating in it because of all the awards hung up. Their pizza is not the only good thing their sandwiches are to. I live in Walnut Creek and go all the way down. It is open really late on Fridays and Saturdays. When it is busy it is harder to get your pizza the quality and the quantity of this pizza is great it fills you up for a really affordable price. Speaking from a pizza lover this is the best pizza I have eaten. more

Garbage 6/14/2006

Delivery took over an hour for thick, chewy, bland crust. Horrible... After they have left flyers on my doorstep for over a year we decided to give them a try and I totaly regret it. Cons: slow delivery, horrible pie more

absolutely the best! 1/20/2005

This place is the most underrated pizza in sf. Having an Italian mother who makes home made pizza, I can attest that this is as close as it gets. more

pros and cons 1/23/2004

Pros: Solid pizza, thicker crust, decent toppings, consistent, not mass produced a la Extreme, North Beach, ect. Cons: Worst Neigborhood in San Francisco Pros: consistent, not mass produced Cons: located in War Zone more

CHICO's is the undiscovered JEWEL! 10/18/2002

Chico's pizza ROCKS!!! Given that this pizza place is in the single worst neighborhood in the city, it is a testament to my dedication to it that I go once a week! The slices are HUGE, and really doughy. I believe the key to their tastiness is they prebake their pies 1/2 way, then add your toppings and additional cheese and throw it in the oven for a few minutes when you order a slice. Kind of pre-aged. None-the-less I can not speak highly enough about Chico's. It's REALLY in the crack ghetto, so it's sort of an adventure as well. Note that they have moved around the corner from the address listed above to 6TH STREET, right off of howard. $1.85 a slice! Go Chico's!!!! Pros: really really tasty, inexpensive, huge slices Cons: rough neighborhood more
