Cavanaugh's Restaurant 8/15/2005

Just your average sports bar filled with big screen TVs, food and beer. Come here if you want to grab a beer, some food and check out multiple games at the same time. They probably have more than 10 TVs playing games nonstop, so if you're an avid sports fan, stop on by. Also, their bottled beer selection is pretty good and their draft beer is reasonably priced. more

    Cavanaugh's is a shining example of what a college bar should be. It's got it all--excellent food, fridges stocked with dozens of takeout beer brands, TVs, video games and a huge bar fully stocked with liquor and more than a dozen draft beers. During the day, the bar is quiet and inviting, a spacious West Philly oasis. At night, the crowds arrive and it gets wild, rolicking and loud--just as a good college bar should.
