Best

Great place to grab a piece of pizza. If Italian is not your thing you have the choice of Mexican food as well. The atmosphere is great. The owner is there, and working right alon...

Mexican-Italian fusion 9/23/2006

Yeah, that's what I said. It doesn't taste any better either. Here's the lowdown: Pros: good service, cozy atmosphere, huge menu, low prices and the pizzas that you walk by to get to the tables looked good. Con: Mexican and Italian food should just not be on the same plate, let alone in the same dish. The chips and salsa were good, so I had reason to be hopeful when I ordered the lunch special enchilada. It was edible, but just 'off' somehow - it wasn't until about bite #4 that I realized the sauce was out-of-the-can tomato sauce rather than enchilada sauce. Did. Not.Work. For. Me. more

Plain Jane 9/15/2006

I grew up in a area with an 90% Latino population. I know authentic mexican food when I eat it. Bruno does not apparently. That being said, the prices are overrated, the mexican and Italian food is just plain and tasteless. Italian food is know for having that key saucy special zing. Bruno, do your homework!!!!! more

Hidden Hole in the Wall 12/22/2005

You would never expect much by looking in at this place from the street, but if you give it a chance, go in past the pizza and lunch counter and get a table and prepare yourself for some really decent Mexican cuisine. The back area is actually quite homey and is a relaxing after work hangout for a beer and a hearty meal. They have a good selection of cuisines and are quick to prepare it for you. Portions are very generous, and pricing is very reasonable. We like to stop in on nights when the busses are horribly off schedule and its chilly out, its a great place to unwind. more

Great lunch spot (fast, cheap, and cozy) 8/17/2005

This restaurant is a great lunch spot for people looking for something quick, but cozy atmosphere. The fare is both Mexican and Italian, which is a little odd -- but it works. The food is not the best (I find most of it pretty bland), but it is cheap and quick. Two items on the menu that I was very satisfied with were the Pork Polenta and the Chili Rellano. Not sure what this restaurant would be like during dinner hours, but I think I will stick to lunch. more
