Mexican-Italian fusion?

Saturday, September 23, 2006
Yeah, that's what I said. It doesn't taste any better either. Here's the lowdown: Pros: good service, cozy atmosphere, huge menu, low prices and the pizzas that you walk by to get to the tables looked good. Con: Mexican and Italian food should just not be on the same plate, let alone in the same dish. The chips and salsa were good, so I had reason to be hopeful when I ordered the lunch special enchilada. It was edible, but just 'off' somehow - it wasn't until about bite #4 that I realized the sauce was out-of-the-can tomato sauce rather than enchilada sauce. Did. Not.Work. For. Me.
