Very bad food and services. The place not clean and so is the food. Expensive and tasteless food. Not recommended at all.

Looking for a cheap, late-night snack and on the Ave.? Get your booty to Aladdin's! The falafel here is near perfection! The portions are perfect size and the price is relatively low-- perfect combo in my book. Perfect for us starving UW students! The late hours make this a great place after a nighttime of Ave. carousing. Enjoy! more

Good Falafel and Service 9/26/2005

This is a small offshoot of the larger Aladdin which is on 41st & University, and the food is pretty much the same at both locations so it just depends on where you are located. The food is good and I especially recommend the falafel for vegetarians. The salad is nothing special -- just iceberg lettuce, really -- so don't bother ordering that. The lentil soup is also pretty good. Aladdin's is small and not terribly fancy, but it's cozy and a comfortible place for a quick bite to eat. The people that work there are nice and genial so you can chat with them while you eat if you sit at the counter. more

THE place for Gyros 8/30/2005

If you like gyros, this is the place to be. Vegetarian and meat lovers alike...it's awesome. IF you've never had a gyro before you've gotta visit this place. Though it's not a very pretty sight, their food more than makes up for it. Try the lamb/beef gyro combo...it's larger than a regular size and it comes with fries! Mix the ketchup and hot sauce for dipping or your gyro. more

Fabulous falafel and gyros 8/16/2005

Aladdin's serves great falafel until 1 am, they have handmade pitas and cook french fries only when they're ordered. The tahini is perfect. The food is cheap. The lamb and beef gyros will be devoured, and they have a huge selection of vegetarian gyros. Yum yum. I really can't recommend it highly enough. more

Take out falafel in the U district 6/30/2005

When I first walked into the Aladdin, I didn’t expect the food to be much good. It’s a small place, not entirely pleasant to spend much time in. But when I actually tasted the food, I was surprised: their falafel is flavorful, well-spiced and has a perfect crunchy-inside soft-outside texture. The tahini sauce is also quite good. It's great for a quick meal on the go. more
