If Flordia could be embodied in a single thing, that thing would be Old Country Buffet. For some reason, old people love this place. Well, old people and college students. With SOOO MUCH FOOD to choose from, you can't go wrong here. I took my girlfriend here, apparently that won't ever happen again. Why, I have no idea. It was like being Charlie in the Chocolate factory, but it was Jon in Old Country Buffet...the entire food pyramid was at my disposal: meats, diary, breads, yougurts, salads, whatever whatever whatever! At least check it out, okay?
This place get 4 stars, why? Because I've been to Vegas and those buffets have spoiled me...those buffets are 5 stars!

I ate here with my girlfriend on one of our dates, the food was inexpensive and the service was good. The night we were there they had live music playing and that was kinda cool, maybe it distracted me from my food. The food is good, and the atmosphere is casual...think like Azteca or smilar. I think that atmosphere is almost more important than food, it's kind of look food presentation..you really do eat with your eyes and ears.

I took my girlfriend here because I heard it was a romantic place, and don't get me wrong it is, but it was kinda hard to see the menu because of the "mood lighting" If you've eaten your carrots, maybe give this place a try...even if you haven't, why don't you do it anyways ;)

Revolutions is another one of those coffee shops that strives to be all Starbucky. The music is annoying and WAY TOO LOUD. I don't really like coffee, but drink tea (yeah, I know...I live in Seattle). Honestly this place isn't that great the people who frequent it are usually those who live around Greenlake (I HATE GREENLAKE). Sorry, I don't mean to sterotype but every place in Greenlake I've been to has somehow turned into a bad experience.

A little pricey, but Thai Ginger is a great place to eat at. I'm really picky about Asian food, and Thai Ginger meets the mark. If you're looking for a great Thai place to take somebody on a date, this is the place to go. Phad Tai and Pad Kee Mao is really good even though I butchered the spelling :)
Close by Broadmoor Golf Club, play some golf and get some Thai with your buddies afterward!

I love Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and you know what...the Mix reminds me of just that...sometimes even better. A small shop on the Ave right off 45th, this is a place you've gotta go. It's a wee bit expensive, but the price can be offset by coupons from the survival guide.
My favorite is the raspberry and brownie mix in! If you visit too often you'll probably get fat, but you know, if you get fat at least you've enjoyed yourself!

I like Taste of India because they've got fast service, and the food is tasty. I am a HUGE fan of Naan, and this place definately caters to my needs for Naan! Some enjoy the rice pudding thing...

Some enjoy the rice pudding thing they offer, but rice as a dessert isn't really my thing...I eat it when it's fried or with dinner! The tandor chicken is also rather tasty! Whatever you order, I'm sure you'll be happy!

I didn't ever order from Jet City until my girlfriend introduced me to them. Their pizzas are pretty good, a little small but they definately use quality ingredients. I really liked their breadsticks and dip! I think we ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza from Jet City, it came on time, and was still warm when we opened it up (something a lot of cheap pizza places around the Ave can't live up to!) Only downside is it is kinda pricy sometimes.

Again, like other cheap pizza places eat it while it's hot or it'll taste like crap! If you like ranch as a topping (say Chicken Ranch pizza) don't order it! It's a rip off, you might as well just get ranch and dip your pizza in it!! I know from experience! The garlic lovers pizza is pretty good too.

Well, 2 stars for okay pizza...economy pizza...you know, when you've been drinking and you want some food. A-Pizza mart is open late, and they deliver. Be careful when you're drunk though, these guys will charge you anywhere from the cost of the pizza to whatever you give them! I once paid $20 for a $10 pizza because I was a little out of it.
Eat the pizza fast, or split it with some friends...once this pizza gets cold it's not worth it anymore.
