Businiess name:  Waldy's Wood-Fired Pizza & Penne
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I don?t know why some of these reviewers are giving Waldy?s a bad rap. This is the best and most authentic pizza in New York. It is most definitely on par with pizza I?ve had in Rome and Florence Italy. The Fresh herbs are the icing on the cake. I love fresh ingredients. As for the crust, it is perfect. (Although, if you are looking for thick, hi-carb, chew it for a while crust, this is not the place for you). I grew up in New York and a nice New York style slice with it?s orange grease and big bubbles of dough has an appeal that brings me back to my child hood, but a small pie from Waldy?s brings me back to Italy. This place is Ten blocks from my office but I power walk it anyway. It's worth the walk and the extra cardio relieve me of the carbohydrate guilt. Pros: Awsome fresh ingredients. Eat it there for best taste. Cons: 10 blocks from my office.
