Review content:
I had high expectations for this place, seeing that its a local favorite with 4 1/2 stars. From the minute I walked in, I thought I was in the wrong place. This place is way too cramped. I was forced to sit next to somone who was maybe 6 inches away from me (not in my party) who ate the smelliest food I've ever smelled. I like to be able to eat my meal without hitting someone at the table next to me with my elbows.\r \r \r The waiters were rude, the food was barely average and the prices were too high. On top of all that, I felt that the place could have been a little cleaner. \r \r \r Examples... The ""Avocado Salad"" was some skimpy slices of tasteless avocado on top of raggedy lettuce. The dumplings were good, but they probably buy them from an outside vendor. The rolls were average. They were put together horribly and the fish really didnt have a super fresh taste. The sushi pieces were pretty big, but again lacked that unbelievable flavor. \r \r \r Do yourself a favor and stay away. This is Manhattan, there are thousands of other places where you can spend $75 for two people for dinner and actually walk out saying that was delicious. \r \r Oh yeah, the dirty plastic covering outside the front door is disgusting. Pros: The shumai dumplings Cons: Everything else about the restaurant.
