I am extremely disappointed in the service. I thought that this would be a great idea to take my girlfriend to for our one year anniversary. I booked for a Thursday, made the reservation and paid. The money was immediately deducted from my account while I was on the phone with the reservation office. I want to stress that I was never informed that there was going to have to be a minimum amount of patrons reserving this evening for the boat to go out or that there was a chance that it would be cancelled! 2 days before the evening of the cruise, I receive a voicemail explaining that not enough people booked for this particular evening and therefore the cruise is cancelled. The message said that my money was returned to my account. When I checked the next day and it still was not in there, I called them to make sure they didn't goof something up, as this is the money I was using to take my lady to our anniversary dinner that I thought was a done deal! Now, because the romantic evening I had planned is cancelled, I have to come up with something different to do on the fly and the money I had set to use for said evening is tied up and it will take days to come back to my account! I was met with a very uncaring attitude where they informed me that they could have written me a check that I would have had to drive a half hour one way to go pick up, as this place is not exactly ""up the street"" from where I live, but that they cannot even do that now that they have authorized the return to my account that was going to take several more days to complete. I was not offered any discount for future service for my troubles due to the cancellation, and I felt like they just didn't really care at all! Nowhere on the website does it inform of these possibilities. It does not warn that there is a possibility of cancellation. It does not warn that if you have to cancel, or if they cancel, that it will take them days to return the money to the account that they are able to instantly deduct it from when you make the reservation! It does not warn you that they couldn't care less about you and your plans! I want to make it clear that I am not upset that the cruise got cancelled. These things happen and I can understand that! What I am upset about is the manner in which it was handled, the seemingly uncaring attitude I had to deal with when I called about my money not being back in my account as quickly as they took it out, and their total failure to offer any kind of consolation, such as a discount for a future cruise, a couple of free drink tickets for a future cruise, or any effort whatsoever to attempt to retain me as a potential customer! Now I am not only NEVER going to use this service, I am also going to tell EVERYONE I know about my experience and to never use Queens Landing!
