Review content:
I used to ride at Woodlawn Stables, I wasn't very happy with it. When I first came to Woodlawn, I had been riding for 8 years, I was in a intermidiate class. Most of the girls in my class didn't really know what they were doing, and we weren't jumping very high. I came knowing my lead changes and jumping 2.6ft in shows, and they put me in a class with girls who barely knew their leads. Many of the horse bite, I got bit at least once each lesson. I didn't find the staff very helpful.I did NOT enjoy my time at woodlawn. And I know many others who feel the same way. My instructor was lazy and didnt even bother helping with my position. They were not very welcoming either. They do not teach even the basics of horsemanship. If you are a beginner at woodlawn you will spend the whole fist lesson learning about the bridle, when you should be learning much much more. I am VERY glad I left woodlawn. If your a serious rider looking for a good place to ride and show, I dont reccomend Woodlawn. Pros: good for beginners Cons: many horses bite
