If you're looking for a place to work out, there are other gyms. This is the only YMCA with Residencey in Tulsa... unfortunately, that means that it doesn't always attract the most desirable people.
I certainally wouldn't use the showers... they're disgusting. Although the equipment is kept in fairly good working order.
If you're looking for a downtown gym, try the Powerhouse gym. It's newer, cleaner, and closer to most office buildings.
