My experience with JD Floor Store was worse than bad. These guys started out great, giving me good ideas for upgrading my floors, but they quickly stopped being so helpful and professional. First, they promised a job estimate in 24 hours and a week later I'm emailing to ask where the estimate is. (I was told the guy had been on vacation: great customer service). Then, they promised to get me samples for a flooring style they recommended but never did --I ended up ordering the sample on my own online. Next, when they came out to do part I of the job they had the wrong size materials (probably because the night before the job they called me to say they can't find the dimensions for my floors and asked me to measure for the floors for them! ) For part II of the job they call to say materials aren't in and they can't do the job as planned, and then call the next scheduled day to say the same. (yes, postponed me twice in a row.) Finally, they come to do the job and I find out that the guy they sent to do it sent another guy and the JD Floor Store folks had no idea AND didn't act concerned when they found out their guy sent another guy. The icing on the cake: within 24 hours my newly installed vinyl floors are peeling up at the edges. They kept backburnering me, telling me that they would have to find a time when they could send someone out and it was always late in the evening (after 6 ---the guy showed up at 8 PM one night) or early morning (around 7 AM. Great customer service. ANd the guy who came to fix the problem had to come out 3 different times before he got it right. I am seeing more areas on my floors that are coming up but I've let things go with them. Not worth my time anymore. I can't recommend them.
